"Room was great, though a tad small. Very comfortable bed. Lobby is beautiful and well equipped to sit and watch the world go by. You get the sense that it's slightly old but very genteel. Marble and overstuffed furniture everywhere. Staff is outstanding and bends over backwards to accommodate any requests. Free buffet breakfast is better than adequate, though selection is limited. Both western and Thai foods available. Coffee is freshly brewed and outstanding. In my experience, that's often an issue in Thai hotels. Fitness center is quite good and well equipped. Pool is very nice, though not warm at this time of year. Therapeutic massage and aromatherapy available on site. The hotel has several dining options. There's also an excellent truly Italian restaurant, Pomodoro, an easy walk away. (Maybe 200 meters?) 7-11 and Amazon cafe also nearby. One gotcha: the mall across the street from the hotel is closed for renovations and there is no indication when it will be reopened. Central Mall is nearby, though not really within walking distance. (There are several extremely busy streets you'd have to cross. But it's a mere 70 baht Grab ride away.) Parking at the hotel is a bit iffy, but if you're staying more than a couple of days, duke the valet 20 baht or so and he'll find you a space up front and be your friend for life. Wifi is easy to use, though the speed isn't great. All in all, I'd rate it 9.5 out of 10."
