Lovely Stay in Schwerin

We had a very comfortable stay in Pension Karina in the family room in the attic. The attic was quite spacious with a modern bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the cafe was very good with a wide selection of food.

Hervorragendes Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, tolle Lage, super Frühstück im benachbarten Cafe, liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Wer sich nicht darsn stört, das die Zimmer sehr klein sind, der findet hier die perfekte Unterkunft für einen Wochenendaufdnthalt zu einem unschlagbaren Preis.

rigtig god pension, med rene værelser god mad beliggende ved/i den gamle bydel i gå afstand fra bymidte og seværdigheder. Pensionen er ikke handicap egnet

Nice but very small room, parking problems.

The room (#3) was a way too small for 2 people. It can fit 1 person, not 2. We did not have a lot of bagage, but there was a problem to find a place for things used every day. The owner is very nice, the breakfast (paid separate) was good. There was a problem to find a parking spot, when you come home at night.

Das Zimmer ist klein und bei offenem Fenster sehr laut, da an einer vielbefahrenen Straße. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem dem Preis entsprechend.

Klein aber fein

Wurden sehr nett von der Dame des Hauses selbst empfangen es gab eine kleine Einweisung und das fanden wir sehr nett. Zimmer sind seh liebevoll eingerichtet.

Cozy family room

We enjoyed our brief stay at Cafe Karina in beautiful Schwerin. We had the family room (two full size beds for a family with two kids), which was very cozy and quite spacious being in a 200 year-old house. Everything was clean, comfy and the interior was very modern. Short walk to the Dom and the castle (past a playground!). We would stay again.

Vi hadde familierom i dette ærverdige huset fra 1798. Det betyr bratte trapper, men til gjengjeld god størrelse på rommet. Kjempeservice og god frokost. Litt trøblete å få parkert, ellers helt topp!

Angenehmes Zimmer gross genug für 2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder im schönsten Haus der Strasse. Es gab sogar ein paar Spielsachen für unseren jüngsten. Ein bisschen problematisch und unübersichtlich ist die Parksituation in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Wir bekamen jedoch gegen ein kleines Entgeld eine Sonderparkgenehmigung für die Werderstrasse.

Hyggelig atmosfære tæt på centrum,

Havde en super tur trods vejret i uge 42, fik shoppet, og set byen. To voksne og to børn (5 og 7) år boede i familierummet på 2. Sal. Kan anbefales til mini ferie i smukke Schwerin.

Cosy and convenient

A 2 night visit to Schwerin. Found the pension online. Typical, well-run small hotel/pension. Single rooms quite small, but quiet and clean. Even a mini-bar! The service was excellent. Antje (proprietress)goes to great trouble to help and explain everything. The place is about 10 minutes walk from the old town and the Schloss.No parking, but the street outside and side streets suffice. Excellent breakfast spread with the additional offer of fried/scrambled eggs at no charge. Other restaurants and bars quite local.Price/Value relationship very good. Highly recommended for a short stay in this interesting city.
