"Really nice , modern hotel. Well maintained and cool reception area. Lovely welcome from staff on arrival and friendly service throughout our stay. Room was a decent size and nice bathroom with great shower. Nicely air conditioned room in what was a hot week. Breakfast options were limited but adequate for us. Good WiFi and free parking which was plentiful. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel and it’s a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Hotel on main drag in town so a little noisy with car traffic until late evening. We upgraded the room when we booked, so there was plenty of space. Bed was hard ish but that’s most German beds.Very clean room and bathroom , plus double sinks. We had a river view beyond the street and parking lot. The balcony was a long area connecting many rooms and of course right on that main road. Breakfast included scrambled eggs plus the salads , meats , cheeses and rolls. Coffee was very good. "Great wellness hotel inside a former monastery. Several saunas, pool and lots of trees outside. "

"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."
