Ots more than we expected - really an historic renovated very cool place. The owner has given great detail to everything. "Charming small hotel visited a week before Easter 2024 - not their peak season so I suspect it is sometimes harder to get the lovely room on the 5th floor - but the room itself was a solid without being outstanding. The breakfast included in the room was decent - perhaps not as good as in some larger hotels but it would be unfair to expect them to provide as much variety in such a small hotel - and the made to order choose your eggs was a nice touch. The sauna area which we had to ourselves was...

"Very nice experience, i arrived at 20. Was able to call them and arrange late check in and preorder food at the restaurant. Super cosy location with the sound of nature. Huge room compared to normal hotels and nice accomodating staff."

"Lovely, lovely. The proprietors and cook are friendly and considerate. There are many interesting features in the home, its decor, and the gardens. Our room (the Belvedere) was spacious—bedroom with sitting area, bathroom, living room with sitting area. The delicious breakfast was multiple courses and served on authentic heirloom quality dishes. The surrounding village, forest, and lakes are beautiful. A magical stay."
