Beautiful lobby. Rooms larger than some older hotels.very convenient to Swabish Hall Heessenthal train station. 5 to 10 minutes to food if walking, but on Sundays expect 15 minutes.

Great hotel in Schwaebisch Hall

I stayed at this hotel when I was in Schwaebisch Hall during my South Germany tour. This must be new hotel because everything looks new and clean. Room is very comfortable, and breakfast was great. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to receptionist, Angelica who was super nice and exceptionally helpful. Highly recommended!

Room is a bit outdated and could use an upgrade. Shower head makes noise. No AC in the room. Inconvenient to stay up in the 300s rooms.

Lovely gem of a place!

Great overnight stay here and we enjoyed a delicious dinner too! We knew it wasn’t in the town, but we had a car so we’re able to visit nearby Schwäbisch Hall. I also parked below the Kloster and walked up and around the beautiful buildings- the inside is not open to visitors. We had booked a room with a sauna- goodness knows why as it was 30’ in August!! But it meant we had a large bathroom with excellent shower and spacious bedroom. All was very clean and comfortable. Hotels.com had said there was a minibar in the room - we do like to enjoy a glass or two of our own wine before dinner! - but there was no minibar and it is not on the hotels own website information, so Hotels.com at fault here! Dinner was served out on the lovely terrace - despite a couple of pesky wasps - delicious food and the biggest wine list I’ve ever seen! Fritz selected a delicious German white reasonably priced for us. Breakfast was our best in Germany - great selection, beautifully laid out and nice small pots of yogurt and fruits. Hope to return and share Fritz’s dry humour again soon!! 😉
