Fantastic Schroon lake spot

I stayed here in 2024 for 6 weeks while waiting for my home sale to go through. Being able to kayak most days was the best. Fantastic deck overlooking the lake was my go to spot. The home itself is cozy and very comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and shops and even a movie theater. A great place to enjoy lake living without the crowds.

In the Summer of 2024, I was looking for a rental that was quiet, tucked away, yet close enough to the Lake George area to spend the day shopping and sight seeing with my two grown kids. This cabin checked all the boxes and more! From a fully stocked kitchen to the most comfortable beds and don’t even get me started on the lake views from the deck. We took the kayaks out and enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the water. So relaxing, it was exactly what I was looking for. Oh, and there’s a wonderful coffee shop in town that we highly recommend too! A+++ stay. Thank you. We’ll definitely be back.

This is such a wonderful retreat from life! I call this my happy place-it truly is.The view from the deck is breathtaking-the mountains and lake while drinking coffee in the morning is the perfect way to start the day.The ice house has everything you need-from dishes, pots and pans, laundry on site, bedding, grill, fire pit, kayaks and much more. There is such attention to detail. The bedrooms are perfectly decorated, and the mattresses are more comfortable than mine at home.The beach and dock are such an amazing addition-fishing for bluegills and sunfish at sunset is always a favorite part of our visits.The ice house is just a short drive (walkable) from the cute village-we love the town store and restaurants. There is a supermarket and other stores (liquor, dollar tree) within a mile.You will fall in love with Schroon Lake and the ice house just as we did!
