"Wir haben mit einer Gruppe ein Wochenende in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit Manfred im Vorfeld lief super, die Schlüsselübergabe ebenfalls und dank bereits geschürtem Ofen war es angenehm warm trotz Herbstwetter. "We did not take advantage of the breakfast. We left the location. It was quiet away from all the business. Great shopping. Just ride around the block about a 7 to 8 minute walk to the old town. The rooms were quirky but big and spacious. We had big windows we could open for ventilation. AC does not seem to work as was our experience at every hotel throughout Germany. I would recommend this place."

"We (2 adults) stayed in an apartment style room for 5 nights. It had a kitchen and dining /sitting area and separate bedroom and bath. It also had a balcony. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with plates, cups, silverware and some cooking utensils. During the day there were a lot of neighborhood sounds but it was quiet in the evenings. The hotel was centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping, train station and sites. There's also a taxi cab stand in front of the hotel. This is very convenient because getting an Uber was impossible in Bamberg - few drivers, lots of wait time and we never did connect with one. The staff were very polite and helpful. I definitely recommend getting an apartment at this hotel-it was a nice treat. "

"Our stay was very nice, with only 2 issues which we truly were not pleased with. Paid for parking, but they have an issue with non-payers getting into the parking garage. Therefore, no parking 2 evenings in a row. Going back & forth, checking if a space was available. This was very unfortunate. The garage has a card key entry, but another could come in right behind. The easiest way is to have someone come thru hotel lobby, push the garage level button, without needing a card entry. Then person can get downstairs and open the garage door from downstairs. Frustrating for sure. The other issue, much less frustrating, no coffee ability in the room. Staff members were very nice, except for one who chose to count his cash box instead of trying to help with our parking situation. "
