"We used this hotel for a trip to Phantasialand. There is a shuttle bus available at Brühl Mitte for £5 return per person in cash, and the stop is an 18 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is very comfortable, we used the restaurant two night. The only problem was the lack of a kettle and tea making facilities in the rooms. We ended up paying €7 for a pot of tea each to take upstairs on the second night. "

"Our stay at Friends Hotel was very good! The room was roomy and very clean. Not much of a decor but cleanliness is important to me. The hotel is close to busy road so with the windows open it will be very noisy. I can see it being very hot in the summertime. Fortunately for us it was a 2 comfortable evenings. Breakfast in my opinion was very good with plenty of options. They replenished often, breakfast room is not very big so it can get busy. Overall I liked our stay!"

"Booked a double bed was given a room with one double and twin bunk beds over the double bed, there was no air conditioner as advertised. The room was extremely small! When we asked they said rooms don’t have any a/c. And they all have bunk beds..No ice maker, no microwave even at reception area! Flies everywhere! Windows have no screens!! Staff was friendly!"
