Rang and got through to an English speaking person who cycled down to us to show us in and let us park the motorcycle in the locked garage. "This is a very promising dog friendly hotel sadly let down by a few niggly decorative issues and fairly slow service. Likewise the restaurant has a great menu but whilst we both ordered very different dishes, both were saltier than the shorts of a Dead Sea fisherman. But the grounds are nice in a natural rural state and parking is plentiful"
"I stayed 2 nights at this hotel while my husband and I visited Papenburg. The staff were professional and helpful. The hotel itself is austere but clean and bright. When I was there, the hotel's clientele were mostly older customers and their adult children.The hotel had a calm atmosphere and there was little to no noise on my floor.
The rooms were a good size and had a ton of outlets and USB ports to charge your phone. The only thing that I didn't like about my room was the mattress. I found it to be very hard.
The best aspect of my stay was the breakfast. So much food and non-dairy milk for the ceral. I just loved it!
