Stayed at the Belvedere while visiting family for Christmas. Bed was comfortable. Good location and plenty of parking. Had additional living room with 2nd TV. Continental breakfast was included.

Hello Robert, Thank you for your feedback and staying with us. We are sorry you feel that way but smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms as you were informed. There are other properties in capital district which has smoking rooms but our property is strictly non-smoking. Thank you!

I found nothing unique about The Belvedere Inn except maybe their slightly deseptive adverting of the hotel itself. I did like the staff very friendly and helpful. Also did not like the lack of some hot food for breakfast,no oatmeal,no eggs just buns and bagels. Otherwise as hotels go nothing exceptional.

Easy check-in. I stayed here because of an impending snowstorm. Bed linens were top-notch. Absorbent towels. Clean. Quiet. My only complaint is that they didn’t offer a TV Guide to the channels, and I wanted to find the Weather. Breakfast was adequate and good enough. Thanks for lending me your shovel!

For the money this is a great stay. It was clean, quiet, and plenty of parking. It is an older building but is clean and quiet. Well worth the $. Staff was kind and helpful. Don't know about the breakfast - left early AM. I'd stay here again.

We loved everything about the stay with the exception of the shower head. Guessing they have hard water and don't descale the heads often because the water was spraying everywhere. It did get better once my spouse cleaned it. However, we would definitely stay again as this wasn't that big of a deal.

Cable not hooked up to TV so no TV. Chipped paint on walls. Quiet. Good parking. Poor breakfast, only bagels, danish and muffins. No fruit or cereal. Only juice was OJ. No milk or hot chocolate. Place is ok for no frills 1 night stay. Doors are locked at night with no one at front desk. If checking in at night, need to get entry code, then get keys out of locked box. A bit of a hazzle.

Best bed and pillows and sheets ever. i gotta upgrade my home bed after this experience. So, the Belvedere has homeless families there, they were cool but, you know, loud with little kids up pretty late. Breakfast was like coffee, yogurts and 4 lonely bagels. Sad. also the wifi didnt work in my room

10 mins away from work area i needed to go. Reasonably priced! TV, Ref, Microwave in room. Even an ironing board. Thinking of all amenities travelers might need during their stay!

The room was very big and had way more than I would have expected for what I paid. A nice jacuzzi tub, large bathroom, large room with a couch and the bedroom was huge, bed comfortable. For the price a great value for a family or a group. Very clean. The only downsides were the TV in the bedroom did not work, no real big deal for me since I only even put it on to check out the baseball game. The breakfast was as minimal as it gets.

The handicap accessible room was not ADA compliant. It had a standard tube installed with a few grab bars and a fold down seat added. Our disabled family members had to straddle the tube wall to be given a shower, which allowed a significant amount of water to escape on to the floor. The staff was very friendly and helped when requested. I would have given them 5 stars if the maid service would have been done at least once during our 5 day stay at this hotel.

I really like that we had a jetted tub. The room was very spacious and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on compared to any other hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

Excellent, with only VERY MINOR issue.....
My only issue was, after receiving my key, the gentleman behind the counter shouted fairly loudly what my room number was. Fortunately there was no one in the lobby, but normally that's not something I would expect to happen in a hotel / motel. I'm sure this isn't his regular approach, and perhaps he did specifically because there was no one in the lobby and he wanted to make sure I heard him. Either way though, it made me feel a little uncomfortable, as if he was announcing to someone where I was going to be sleeping at night.
