"Overall the property was in excellent condition "

"This a very beautiful and peaceful place. The property and cabins are well kept. I would advise they show pictures of the ladder to the loft as older folks may struggle with that. Maybe there were pictures and I just didn’t see them. Great for a young family looking for a sweet location. Water inside cabin was clear but had sulfur kind of smell. Not sure what is causing that but something worth looking into fixing if possible. Still a great place to relax and enjoy nature."

"Easy to set up and access. All items needed for stay present. Only downside is step stairs to carry all your items."

"Good email communication from the host Electronic lock on the door had low batteries so it would only manually lock from the inside so when we went out to eat, we knew our door would be unlocked. The shower pressure was poor and the hot water ran out pretty quickly the bed was below average The room temperature was unsteady and poorly regulated The history and the artifacts were really cool, as was the ambiance of the old hotel. With a little more money, some attention to detail, and a bit of TLC this place could really be an amazing place to stay. I can see so much potential with this destination, but potential and reality are two very different things. Unfortunately, the bed, the shower, the room temperature, and the door lock canceled out any good history juju that we might’ve enjoyed. I know it’s an old hotel and I know it was priced decently, but batteries, hot water heaters, shower heads and better HVAC would’ve made this an all star review. This place is a treasure and I would just love to see it reach its full potential! "

"Staff was very friendly. Room needed a good cleaning. Arm chair was very dirty with hairs all over it. Also under the cushion. Floors all needed a good cleaning. Maintaining the faucets was also seeded as they were loose."
