A short break in Scarborough

Good location close to Peasholm Park,Norh Bay beach and amenities, but room faced a noisy road which regularly interrupted sleep particularly with window open. Room uncomfortably hot at night even with window open. Tea coffee and biscuits not replenished or room tidied during 3 night stay. However house clean and relatively good value for money as a single traveller

Paying twice

Why did i pay hotels .com my fee of 48.00 then the had to pay the hitel agian i think its disgusting i had to pay twice wont use this service agian or recommend it to anyone i no terrible service

Was cash only and had the room fee showing on credit card but it disappeared after 4 days. Prefer card payment, otherwise a good stay again

Clean and tidy, lovely room and a very comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a TV, ideal location for the open air theatre. Can’t fault it.

This was my 3rd stay at Sea Dogs, the location is excellent for me which is why I chose it initially. Dave is very welcoming. I’ve always had a single room at the front which is nice and clean. Shared bathroom facilities but I have yet to had to wait ever! The budget price means you can treat yourself to a stay a little more often maybe.

Cricket in Scarborough

I was made very welcome and was contacted during the morning to say that the room was available earlier than 2.00 which I thought was good and took advantage of going to sea dogs just over a hour earlier,and would stay again because it is near to the cricket ground and quite affordable.

Great value overnight stay.

Ok it is not 5 star accommodation, but it is clean and comfortable and the owner is very helpful. Value for money is excellent so if its just a short stay for somewhere to lay your head for a night or two, then this is ideal. 15 minute walk from the railway station, i would happily stay again in the future.

Due to my error I booked the wrong day - Dave was a legend and sorted it so I still had a room when I arrived. The room was spot on and very clean and also there was a bath and after walking from Robin Hoods Bay that was very much needed.
