"Great little place in south Portland! Close to many parks, lighthouses, and driving distance to downtown. Parking downtown and in the old port area can be tricky and expensive though. "

"The description is inaccurate. It is run down and in an unsafe area. The check-in instructions repeatedly said to close your door immediately behind you and lock it. As soon as we pulled up it was clear why. I was traveling alone with my 16 year old daughter for a mother daughter’s trip. Needless to say there was no way I felt comfortable staying at the property alone with her. We ended up getting a nice safe room at the Ramada about 5 miles away. Be very wary of this place! There is a reason...

The description of the unhoused presence was accurate, but we never felt unsafe and this is not unlike any other city neighborhood. Would stay here again!"
