Casa Abuela

Very nice house. well-appointed property owner and local rep were very responsive. As the owner notes, the property is rural and somewhat hard to reach, at least compared to places in more populous areas. We loved staying in the house and the village of Sayalonga was wonderful as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a retreat.

Great views

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful villa. I didnt like the drive up to the villa as a passenger but my husband found it fine. It is a bit out of the way but again we knew this we just wanted to get away and not be in the hustle and bustle of a busy holiday resort. Loved that ot had everything we waanted in the villa, like a washing machine, ac and a giid working oven. If that drive up was a bit better i woukd definitely stay again.

A phenomenal view over andalusien

This appartment is phenomenal! We stayed for one week during june 2023 and we were with 4 people (2 couples, no kids). The view is amazing and also the appartment is in a good condition. just for your information: Check the road to the appartment before you start driving to it. When we drove for the first time, we weren't sure if this is the right way etc. it is.... :-) but make yourself comfortable with the road to the appartment.

Supermooi huis in de bergen met een top-view

Wat een rust daar in de bergen. Wat een mooi huis. Wij hadden ook het gastenverblijf erbij gehuurd. En wat een uitzicht. De gehele kustlijn kun je zo’n beetje zien. Zelfs de bergen in Marokko gezien. Het contact met zowel Henrik als Ramon (met handen en voeten kom je er wel) verliep ook prima. Niet 1 keer fout gereden naar het huis. Neem wel een SUV. Sommige stukken weg zijn uitdagend. Henrik.. dankjewel voor ons verblijf in je mooie woning.

Wegdromen

Een mooi huis op een mooie plek. Het uitzicht is wijds met de Mediterranee aand horizon. Alles is in goede staat, het Scandinavische interieur beviel ons heel goed. Zeer geschikte lokatie voor een rustige vakantie met veel privacy en comfort. Wat de verhuurder (en enkele huurders) zeggen over de laatste kilometers is waar: pittig stukje weg, heel geschikt voor ervaren chauffeurs en n krachtige motor.

Tolles Haus in den Bergen mit Blick aufs Meer

Das Haus ist toll ausgestattet und wunderschön. Pool, Grill, Waschmaschine, Trockner, Backrohr, Mikro, Wifi,... alles vorhanden. 2 Bäder und 2 Schlafzimmer im Haupthaus. Die Anreise ist etwas abenteuerlich, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell an die Strecke. Die Instruktionen mit den Koordinaten waren sehr gut, so haben wir das Haus problemlos gefunden, kommt man am Abend an, sollte man das Angebot mit Ramon als Führer jedenfalls annehmen. Sonnenaufgänge und Sönnenuntergänge von Terasse sind ein Traum.

Très belle maison bien agencé, si vous aimez le calme vous serez servi, petit bémol une bâche à bulles aurait été bien sur la piscine car pour le mois d’octobre elle perdait les 3° la nuit qu’elle avait pris la journée donc l’eau plafonné À 22° autre petite chose ne pas avoir le vertige pour prendre la route qui vous emmène à la maison

Casa Abuela

Dejligt hus med fantastisk udsigt over bjerge og middelhav. Vi havde 3 dejlige uger i Casa Abuela.. alt fungerede som det skulle, dog med små udfald på WiFi, som dog straks blev rette at vores kontaktmand Ramon. God indformation fra ejer vedr. bolig og kørselsvejledning, så som at det er smart at leje en SUV når man skal op ad den lille bjergvej.. det er et sted vi absolut kan anbefale.

Me ha parecido bien por las características de la casa y que admitan perro.Los dos problemas que hemos encontrado ha sido la Wi-fi y el camino de acceso,que es un poco complicado,y recomiendo hacerlo con un coche tipo SUV

Perfecta y tranquila

Vivienda ideal, limpia, cómoda y funcional. Muy acogedora. Impresionantes vistas y relacion porche-piscina inmejorable. El camino de acceso resulta un poco dificil pero justamente esto hace que sea un emplazamiento muy tranquilo y perfecto para los que deseamos desconectar de todo.

Great house and view

We really enjoyed our stay in the house. It is clean, enough space, great kitchen and the airco’s are very efficiënt. This is important otherwise it is too hot to sleep. The swimming pool and the terrace are so great. As the house is so high located on the mountain, there were no flies nor bees when you eat outside. You have other houses on the mountain but no inside. We come every year to spain and this villa has everything we desired. The owner is very flexible as we were allowed to have an earlier check in and later check out due to change in flight hours. It is difficult to find but Ramon helped us directly. Thank you

Spektakuläre Aussicht

Wir waren mit vier Personen in der Casa Abuela und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus beim ersten Mal zu finden war schon ein kleines Abenteuer, danach wurde es deutlich einfacher. Die Beschreibung des Hauses ist wirklich sehr ausführlich und auch die Informationen zu der Unterkunft, die der Vermieter uns nach der Buchung hat zukommen lassen, ließen kaum Fragen offen. Sicherlich ist es nach einigen Jahren der Vermietung notwendig ein paar Dinge neu anzuschaffen oder auszubessern, deshalb von uns nur vier Sterne. Die Aussicht ist allerdings wirklich grandios, egal ob von der Hauptterrasse, der Casa Olivia oder vom Grillplatz aus. Wir durften farbenprächtige Sonnenuntergänge, die Sicht auf Afrika, die beleuchtete Küste Andalusiens und den Sternenhimmel genießen. Diese Bilder im Kopf und am nächsten Morgen verschluckt Seenebel die Küste, das Meer und die Welt um einen herum. Dazu geht dann noch die Sonne auf........ Surreal, zauberhaft, spektakulär!!! Danke dafür und alles Gute.

Schöne Finca

Nach einer etwas abenteuerlichen Anfahrt erreicht man die liebevoll ausgestattete Casa mit herrlichem Meerblick! Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war freundlich und unkompliziert. Ein Problem mit dem Strom wurde umgehend behoben! Wir haben unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen und sagen Danke dafür!!

More accurate description required

We were unable to locate the villa upon arrival. We headed owners advice only received after we had paid in full, 'if arriving after dark - don't do it' and after a very tricky drive up to the general area of villa decided to stay at a hotel for the night. We tried again the following day, after skidding on an extremely steep, rough track with shear drop it became obvious that no matter how lovely the accomadation we would not be able to go out in the evenings - this is not what we wanted from our holiday. We paid for alternative accommodation. The owner was unwilling to offer a refund, luckily we paid with a credit card, filed a dispute and received a refund. I'm sure that if you want to stay at the villa for your whole holiday it would be fine but really do feel very strongly the owner should make it very clear (before accepting payment) that the villa is extremely difficult to reach after dark.

Traumhafter Ausblick

Für erholsame Tage definitiv zu empfehlen. Im Großen und Ganzen sind wir zufrieden. Das Haus ist sehr schön, hat aber auch leider ein paar Schäden. Wir hatten sehr viel mit Ameisen zu kämpfen. Die Badezimmertür ging nicht ganz zu und wir mussten mit verstopften Abflüssen kämpfen, dafür war es elegant. Die Schlafzimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet und modern, das Bad im Hauptschlafzimmer ebenfalls. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hat uns sogar ein Babyreisebett und Hochstuhl zur Verfügung gestellt, eine Wickelauflage ebenfalls. In dem Hochstuhl waren noch Essensreste, wieso wir diesen erst richtig reinigen mussten. Die Küche hatte leider schon bessere Zeiten, die Spühlmaschine ließ sich nur schwer öffnen, da die Leiste unten nicht richtig montiert ist. Leider konnten wir unser 10 Monate altes Kind nicht viel krabbeln lassen, da im Wohn-/Küchenbereich einige Fliesen kaputt waren, mit teilweise etwas scharfen Kanten. Draußen ging es leider auch nicht, da das Grundstück nicht abgesichert ist und es uns zu gefährlich war mit dem Abhang. Die Terrasse war ganz schön, leider waren am zweiten Tisch keine Stühle. Die Auflagen auf den vier Liegen hätte ich am liebsten in die Waschmaschine getan. Der Pool war ein Traum. Unser 8-Jähriger war an manchen Tagen bereits um halb 9 Uhr morgens im Pool. Die Aussicht war auch traumhaft, man konnte die ganze Küste sehen. Die Lichter vom Hafen im Dunkeln, richtig toll. Das Haus liegt so weit ober, das wir an einem Tag in einer Wolke hingen und dachten es wäre ein nebliger Tag- 5m tiefer sah es ganz anders aus. Es sollte jedem bewusst sein, dass es in den Bergen liegt, somit sieht man Tiere, die man sonst nicht zu Gesicht bekommt - Grille, Eidechse, Ratte, Schlange, Fledermäuse und Gekos. Eine bunte Vielfalt. Wenn man Ruhe und Entspannung möchte, ist man hier richtig. Die Fahrt bis zum Haus ist etwas rasant, da man im Wahrsten Sinne des Wortes am Abhang fährt. Die Straße ist teilweise nicht befestigt und an manchen Stellen für zwei Autos nicht bereit genug, dies sollte man bei der Mietung eines Leihwagens berücksichtigen. Wer entspannt und in Ruhe seinen Urlaub fernab vom Tourismus genießen möchte, ist hier richtig.

Sayalonga Stay

The villa was lovely, in a beautiful location and perfect if you want a 'get away from it all' location. It was spacious, clean and the outside space was generous and pleasant to use. The local area has a lot to offer and the views were breathtaking. Henrik always answered my messages promptly and was really helpful and accommodating. We found the drive to this property quite long and slow due to the state of the roads but if you aren't interested in leaving the property often then that's not a problem.

Sommerurlaub 2019

Ein tolles Haus mit einem grandiosen Ausblick. An die engen Wege, zum Teil auch unbefestigt, mussten wir uns erst gewöhnen, aber daran haben wir uns schnell gewöhnt. Am Abend saßen wir sehr gerne vorne am Pool und haben die Aussicht genossen. Da es etwas in den Bergen liegt, ist es auch nicht ganz so heiß und wir haben Abends öfters ein Jäckchen benötigt. Der Vermieter war immer hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Auch möchten wir uns bei Ramon bedanken, der uns bei Ankunft, leider bei Dunkelheit, sicher zum Haus begleitet hat und sich auch um unsere Anliegen gekümmert hat. Wir können dieses Haus nur empfehlen, vielleicht verschlägt es uns mal wieder in diese Gegend.

Romantic house in the mountains with a sea view

Very nice house, gorgeous view from the terrace, great pool, very nice location - all was excelent ! We really had a great time ! I would just recommend to the owner to improve airconditioning a bit, and to a new guests not to drive the way up to the house after dark ... Thank you for a nice vacation ! :-)

A beautiful house with an absolutely stunning view

Casa Abuela is a very beautiful house with the most amazing view across the sea and the mountains. The outdoor area is very nice with a covered patio and lots of chairs and sunbeds where one can enjoy the view and pure relaxation. The pool is nice and clean – and again we have to empathise the view from the pool area! The indoor area is also nicely decorated and the kitchen is very well equipped. Henrik was a great host and was easy to contact. Every question was answered within short amount of time and he was a great help when we accidently locked ourselves out :-). A good advice would be to rent a SUV and a car with an automatic gear as the roads to the house are steep and bumpy.

Tolles Haus mit tollem Blick

Grandioser Blick, toller Pool, sehr nettes gut eingerichtetes Haus! Vermieter ist nett und sehr hilfsbereit! Die Anfahrt ist etwas beschwerlich, dafür wird man aber entlohnt. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!
