The Sawley Arms
Room was very good. Rather warm, but turning the radiators off and opening the windows sorted that out. A very pleasant stay with the breakfast a 6 mile walk and a light lunch in the pub.

Our room was spotless, staff polite, we had breakfast and it was very good. Lots of places to eat next door which was very convenient.

The decor was generally OK but is very tired. Peeling wall paper, evidence of damp patches, rough looking finishing like skirting boards etc looking they had layers upon layers of paint added to them over the years. . Generally need a refresh. Cool place so central , didn't bother me but no lift and could be a few flights of stairs with luggage , bit painful doing codes to get in and out of room and downstairs doors etc But overall nice stay
