"The place was clean and felt very cosy. It was clearly newly refurbished and was clean. The beds were not too great though. In one of the bedrooms the wooden boards under the mattress were loose and had to put back in place. That is when it became clear they had better all be replaced. "We loved our stay.A unique experience in a restored building from 1500 in the center of historic Troyes. Very quiet location. The apartment was well equipped, the people friendly. The bed was comfortable. Only concerns: airco was too loud to use while sleeping. The apartment is listed as 'wheelchair accessible', but is really isn't. It is on the ground floor and there are no stairs to climb. But the toilet entrance is very narrow, and there is a challenging step down immediately behind the door. Not an issue for us, but I wouldn't take a friend with a walker."
