"The room is very clean and well maintained. Staff is nice and friendly. Lettika is a wonderful woman who is always willing to help us.
Our room had an outdoor sunroom-like space with screened walls, which made it feel open and connected to nature while still feeling safe and comfortable. Sitting on the sofa, birds would come right in front of me, and it was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience."

"Stay was great, relatively relaxing and plenty of space inside the room.
If you’re only looking for a place to sleep and do activities outside during the day, I would highly recommend. Other than a small pool, there is really nothing to do.
I guess my only concern was it was a bit hard to locate as it didn’t have huge signs like other hotels nearby. "

"We reserved a room at this location, however we were switched to ZenZaru same ownership. At KiKaru the grounds were not maintained and the pool was unusable/not clean. When we arrived at ZenZaru the location was very inconvenient. You had to go down approximately 100 steps to get to the rooms. There is no reception area, no rest area/lounge. The room was recently finished but not complete. The bathroom/shower was large and comfortable, however the extreme hot water was not adjustable and poor...

"Clean modern room, best shower in Costa Rica at this pricepoint. Fast wifi with excellent coverage. No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. We stayed for two nights when day time temps were in the upper 80s on the beach, and we were very comfortable at altitude with the breezes from the ocean. The host, Lori, is a gem. The property is gorgeous and meticulously well kept. You will get full use of your rental car's 4x4 on the road to...

"We loved staying at the Shana by the Beach. Highlights included our room (we had an amazing oceanfront view with double king beds, kitchen and a balcony with dining table), the pool area (has an adults-only side with infinity pool view of the ocean, though it’s a little small, and a 2 for 1 happy hour from 3-6 pm daily), delicious complimentary breakfast (however, they serve the same dishes daily and might consider changing it up a little), and abundant hotel wildlife like white faced and squirrel monkeys and Toucans. Amenities were clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. There is also a jungle path (7-10 minute walk) down to Playa Biesanz, which is a small public beach nestled in a cove (bring water shoes as it’s a little rocky and cash for drinks and snacks). Playa Espadilla (public beach) is also only a 10-minute Uber ride, and in my opinion the nicest of the four local beaches I visited, even Manuel Antonio Beach. A few suggestions or things I learned: (1) per my research, we rented a car but should have just got a shuttle from the airport to Manuel Antonio, (2) driving around Manuel Antonio is hectic with windy roads and tight spaces, so ubering is inexpensive and hassle-free since restaurant are close; and (3) the monkeys that live around the resort will open your balcony door, so keep it locked. Overall, I would recommend this resort for its location to Manuel Antonio Park, abundance of local restaurants, and its room and restaurant/pool views of the ocean. "

"We chose this property originally because it had wheelchair access and it was large enough to handle our large family group of 4 generations. Little did I know just how amazing the property, the owners and especially how amazing Flory our concierge was! This was a very special trip as my father is battling end stage colon cancer and we wanted to celebrate his life with what he called his "Going away Party". Flory contacted me immediately once the reservation was made and was so communicative throughout the entire process. She set up surf lessons, horseback riding and fishing where 7 Sail Fish were caught! She also had a chef prepare some amazing food for some dinners as well as a birthday breakfast for my grandson's 16th birthday. The house and Villas are beautiful and the beds were so comfortable! The view from the bedrooms could not have been more serene and we did have a visit from some monkeys, iguanas and our favorite, sloths. Jacson was a master at finding the sloths and always let us know where they moved to. Perry and Paola, the owners, are the nicest people and so humble. We were so fortunate to have met them when we were there. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about our experience and my father was so appreciative of the care everyone took to ensure his last trip on this earth was a great one. We would definitely stay again the next time we visit Costa Rica!"
"⭐️An Unforgettable Stay Surrounded by Nature, Beauty, and Exceptional Service⭐️
Parador Nature Resort exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, every single employee we encountered was genuinely kind, attentive, and went out of their way to provide extraordinary service. The warmth and professionalism of the staff made us feel cared for at every step.
The setting itself is absolutely breathtaking. The sunsets here are some of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen—golden, expansive, and perfectly framed by the surrounding jungle and ocean views. The resort truly lives up to its name, offering immersive nature experiences that feel both magical and serene.
One of the most unforgettable highlights was the wildlife. We had close-up, personal encounters with monkeys that literally climbed onto our balcony—an experience you’ll never forget and one that perfectly captures how connected this resort is to its natural surroundings. The monkeys are harmless and fascinating to watch… just don’t leave your glass door open 😉.
Parador strikes the perfect balance between luxury and nature. You feel completely relaxed, surrounded by beauty, yet supported by an incredibly thoughtful and attentive team who clearly take pride in what they do.
This is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience. We left feeling restored, inspired, and already talking about when we can return. Highly, highly recommend."
"My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed at this amazing hotel for three nights, and I truly enjoyed every moment. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The restaurant was the highlight for us—we had both breakfast and dinner there, and the food was fresh and delicious. We were especially excited to see monkeys during breakfast, along with many birds and other animals. We also enjoyed walking across the hanging bridges and exploring the trails. It was a truly wonderful experience.
Thank you to all the staff at Mountain Top Park Hotel. We will definitely come again!
