"Fun and beautiful resort. Great for all ages; adults and families. Something for everyone. Lots of pool options, activies, great food and the most wonderful, friendly staff. The Lazy River is one of the best we've experienced, along with the two big slides and various large pools to enjoy, the expansive resort has many options. Excursions around the island are also worth it! I have to recognize the amazing staff, but not able to leave their names here. You each helped make this trip a special one. We had lots of laughs together and we thank you for the amazing hospitality! Thank you! We'll be back!"

"The property is exactly as seen in the pictures and honestly was our saving grace while in St Lucia. I’ve never spent more time in our room and at a property than we did this week. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained & very safe & secure. The Coconut restaurant was also a saving Grace. The food was amazing and we were so thankful to be able to get breakfast lunch or dinner there as my husband did not feel it was safe to drive our rental car to go to other areas for meals. Now to give you more helpful tips during your visit. Do not rent a car. It was a waste of $560 because it did not feel safe to drive on the island. The drivers are very fast, erratic and swerve around you and cut you off for not driving way over the speed limit on scary, hairpin, treacherous roads. We did take Dexter’s suggestion of hiring a private driver on our wedding anniversary, who drove us around the island to the tourist spots. It was much cheaper than if we had taken separate excursions. Richie was a great tour guide for the day! We saw the downtown of all the little cities, the Pitons, climbed the stairway to heaven, had lunch @ Dauphin with an amazing view, snorkeled at Sugar Beach just to name a few in a crammed packed day. However, I was very motion sick as this is driving and terrain like you’ve never experienced. We had hoped to drive ourselves and experience all the different snorkel spots but unfortunately, this island isn’t conducive of that."

"The property was an older property but still very beautiful and maintained. If you love a rustic vibe, lush gardens and don’t mind walking…it’s definitely the resort for you! The grounds are maintained beautifully and is so scenic!!! A HUGE APPRECIATION to the concierge staff (tours) especially Nikole (thank you), the restaurant staff at 14-16degree (thank you), they were all so attentive and polite, Sanjay (very energetic, loved the energy), and last but not least the General Manager(many thanks)! My only dislike were the staff at the front lobby not helpful at all. Side note: If you go around carnival time, some of the resort amenities are limited…tours."

"Stayed one night after flight was delayed, having been at Sandals in the North. I'd describe the hotel as a bit quirky and rustic (in a good way). The staff were friendly and helpful and the food we had was reasonable. It's really about the environment you are in than the amenities. Our 'cabin' Ginger Lily was spacious, with a comfy bed and A/C. Cleanliness was ok and on a positive note, no mosquito bites at all. There is a large swimming pool and 3 smaller which looked fine to swim in but don't expect bright blue tiled surface. High point for me was the Piton view trail, which although quite a hike was worth the effort given the view from the viewing point. The hotel is also well located for nearby attractions e.g. sulphur springs, drive in volcano, botanic gardens and Hotel Chocolat experience (which we did and was fun). I think the hotel do their own chocolate experience as well. Personally I wouldn't choose to stay a week here, but for a night or two it makes for a change from the norm and does feel a bit like getting back to nature."
