Charming and Cozy 3 bedroom, (2) queen (1) full, 1 bath. Fully furnished and equipped with everything you would need for your weekend getaway. It sets on 1.5 acres with a quite private back patio with outdoor seating to enjoy your evenings. The circular drive makes prefect access to bring your water toys to enjoy Pickwick Lake. It is minutes from the Pickwick State Park , boat ramps, local stores and restaurants.

This property is non-smoking and pet friendly. We know how important it is to bring your four legged family members with you. However a $65.00 pet fee is required at the time of booking. (Please Note) If a Pet is on the premises without prior notification and fee paid will result in vacating the property without a refund.

Great location!

Location was central to everything we needed, less than 10 minutes for grocery, gas, and boat ramp. The house has a spacious layout with a great back patio. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place for our family to gather. In town for a annual family reunion and usually stay at the State Park.... chose this instead this year and very glad we did. Very clean, great beds, close to everything!!

Great place to stay for our fishing tournament

Awesome location and great boat storage. We had an awesome stay. The house was clean and in a prime location for good food and a variety of boat ramps. We will be back for sure!

I really enjoyed my stay. The property was great in every way. Unfortunately, it rained a lot, so instead of fishing, I devoted that time to resting and relaxing. The property was very quiet and peaceful, and is located close to two different boat ramps at Pickwick. I caught catfish and bass despite the rain. It was perfect for me and I will come back.

Stayed multiple nights for a two day bass tournament out of the state park. House was great and met all of our needs. Plenty of parking for truck and boat with electric to charge the batteries. Very good hostess and hope to get to stay there again.

We choose the property for the location and price.Patricia and Jim are great there are so many personal touches in the house that make it a great place to stay beyond that there were spices for cooking butter and condiments in the refrigerator and even ice cream in the freezer may of been from a past guest but either way I was thrilled with the whole property

Championship fishing tournament

We came down due to our son fishing the College Bassmaster National Championship on Pickwick lake. The house was in a perfect location, we had everything we needed. We will be back if we are ever down that way again.

Best of everything!

Great folks to deal with! I have stayed in 2 of there houses so far. Both have been super clean. Haven’t had anyone mess with any of our stuff in the boats, so the neighbor must be pretty good. The houses are less than 10 minutes from Pickwick Dam. We come in for a charity catfishing event and our boats are all 20+ foot long and at one point we had 4 boats and trucks there. Highly recommend!

Pickwick Getaway

We loved the home & our time with our family at Pickwick. We couldn’t ask for a cleaner home & it was close to everything we wanted to do. The Mc Gees were wonderful hosts. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived & there was an anniversary card & cheesecakes I. The refrigerator from them for us to enjoy.It made our 2nd anniversary very memorable & we hope to return next year to this same place. We couldn’t ask for anything else more enjoyable. We really enjoyed our outside cookout with my twin brother & his family there at the house.We highly recommend this place to anyone to visit the pickwick area!

Ten Stars

If we could leave ten stars instead of five we would. This little house was laid out perfectly for us. It was quiet and ultra clean! I hope to come back again and stay a weekend sometime with my daughter too. Everything about this rental was good and easy for us. The owners are very quick to respond and thoughtful too. Would not hesitate to book this property again. The bed I had was so comfortable and the sheets were very nice! Yes it’s an older home but it is well cared for and seriously may be the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Ten stars! Loved it.

A Weekend at the Lake

We originally scheduled the stay due to its proximity to Pickwick. Unfortunately, one of us ended up being unable to spend a day on the boat so we spent the day in Counce. This vacay home reminds me of the houses in the neighborhood where I grew up - very welcoming homey and comfortable, updated with everything you'd need. The property is really spacious and the backyard got a lot of use while we were there. We would definitely do it again!

Family weekend

A friend of ours was celebrating a 50th birthday. So we had a long weekend with days full of boating at Pickwick and evenings with friends and family celebrating! We have stayed at this property before and loved the home so it was an easy decision on where to return.
