Service was exemplary! I elected to pay at the property. The host was kind and patient. The room and property was beautiful and well maintained. I was there for a retreat and ended up running late on the last day and the staff was so kind. They did not push us out of the room or demand that we leave earlier than we needed to. I felt truly cared for, and the experience was one that I love to have again

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I also appreciate that it is pet friendly. My husband and I enjoyed staying here and plan to come back in the future.

The location of the property is awesome, close enough to get to Helen quickly and far enough away to be peaceful. Lodge is clean and easy to access coffee, snacks, and extra towels.

Room was clean and property was well maintained. A/C was a little quirky, but the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. There was no staff on the property when we were there. Grab and go snacks/breakfast, coffee was all that we needed for the day. We would definitely stay here again, Thank you.

Honestly the place was a let down. The biggest positive to our stay was the on-site staff, she was amazing. Im not a complainer, as a vet I've slept in some wild places, but for the money I spent it was a huge let down. We had "The Suite". The "amenities" were a microwave, toster oven, and mini fridge. The main bed was the noisest, most uncomfortable bed I've ever tried to sleep on, and the small a/c units were insanely loud. "Mountain Views" were kinda sorta a thing through the trees. We were the only ones there for most of the week and it kinda felt like the Shining. We got charged a surprise resort cleaning fee no one mentioned when we booked the stay so theres that too.All in all the staff was amazing, the stay not so much. Honestly wouldn't book again, sorry.

The room was great! very comfortable and the gathering room just outside our door was like having a private living room. Staff (2 ladies) was very friendly and helpful. Only disappointment was that website listed a dining room which at some point closed and was not available.

We chose Sylvan Valley Lodge for a quick trip to North Georgia because of the positive reviews and the reasonable price. For our needs, this place was perfect! I loved that it was so convenient to Helen yet just far enough away for some peace and quiet. The room was clean and nice, and the beds were comfortable. We got in a little later in the evening and were thrilled with the easy check-in and the grab-and-go snacks in the common area. That was such a pleasant and welcome surprise! We even found a small sealed bag of ice in the minifridge freezer provided for guests to use, and that came in handy for my insulated water bottle. It was those kinds of little thoughtful touches that really set this place apart. We would definitely stay here again.

Someone was smoking in the room before our arrival and we couldn’t even stay there. We had to leave. It was difficult to reach someone, because apparently the building is abandoned by the the staff after business hours and I arrived after 4pm. There is a phone number you have to call then supposedly. The lady sounded arrogant on the phone. The room looked clean though.

It was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet! If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to Helen but not right on the strip, this would be the place to go!! It isn't a big chain hotel, so there aren't people running up and down the hallways. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back!!

The cabin smelled clean and looked clean. Everything was decorated so well. The staff was amazing, friendly and on-top of everything. We loved everything about our stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer so we could have explored the property more. We will most definitely be back!
