"When we first walked into the lobby, it smelt old and musty. I thought “oh great the rooms will smell horrible.” This was not true. The man manning the desk for check in was super nice. He seemed to enjoy his job and interacted with customers. Not a robot who had a disdain for people. The rooms were nice. The beds were okay. Everything was clean. Beds, bathroom, sink, floor, fridge, microwave, & everything else. For the breakfast, my other half stated the waffles were really good. I have a diary allergy and wasn’t able to enjoy any of it. Maybe have more options dairy free. Do the eggs really need milk in them? If Quality Inn would offer more items like that, think of all the customers you’d get. No other places have free breakfast with those options. There’s a huge market of people left out and Quality Inn has a chance to cash in on that."

"We have stayed at the Plainview Motel before and used to love it, but after this experience, we will never return. The path to the beach was lined with trash and appeared to be occupied by homeless individuals. While my husband and son were down there, they were confronted by two large off-leash dogs that were aggressive—growling and attempting to attack our son and our small dog. The owner did nothing and dismissed it as “they’re friendly,” which was clearly not true. Later that same day, I was chased by another set of off-leash dogs belonging to a long-term tenant. The owner was rude, hostile, and harassed us instead of taking responsibility. He even tried to escalate the situation and falsely claimed he was calling the police. We no longer felt safe and left early, even though we had two nights remaining. Getting a refund was just as frustrating. The manager was unhelpful, argumentative, and only refunded one night after a long back-and-forth with the third-party booking company. Unsafe environment, aggressive dogs, rude long-term tenants, and poor management. I would not recommend staying here."
