"The apartment is beautifully restored in a historic building, in the dead center of the walled city (old town) of Avignon, within 3 minute walk to the Papal Palace. There is an incredible view into a landmark basilica from one bedroom. Some precarious stairs to the second floor (3rd level from the ground). The communication with the host and instructions on basic issues like check-in and WiFi could have been a bit more streamlined. Overall good find."

"We loved the atmosphere within the walls and the access to restaurants, tourist attractions and enjoyed heading out each day to go to different places. Staying at the property was very relaxing and quiet at night. We cooked some of our meals and the kitchen is well stocked. The shower was good."

"Our stay was great, and it was particularly wonderful to have A/C on the very hot days we were in Avignon. I would recommend that you break up your luggage or only small/medium bags though, because it took two of us to carry each suitcase. Worth it to stay in such a great location that was inside the old city and close to everything, however. We felt right at home and did not want to leave."
