Even though the area seemed like it was just farm land, we were less than 15 minutes from the heart of town. We could even hear the ships horns and see the smoke from their stacks as they went down the St Mary’s River while sitting on the deck. It was a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The home was nicely laid out and felt like home.
I would highly recommend it!
This cozy cottage had lots of space, was very clean and well stocked with supplies to make our stay comfortable. TVs and appliances were all easy to use. The double and twin beds were very comfortable. Check in and out were seamless.
This is our 3rd time staying at this property on our annual trip to the Soo. Excellent property, you can tell the owner cares about providing a quality experience. I would highly recommend this location for anyone visiting the Sault st. Marie.
This rental was perfect for what we needed. The area is extremely quiet, the owner was so easy to work with. We will recommend this rental to our friends.
Hosts makes an very welcoming enjoyable home to stay. I highly recommend this home if you are in the Sault St. Marie area. House is clean, beds are comfortable, the horses out back are an enjoyable diversion… high marks.
We stayed for a few nights to visit the Agawa Train Tour. The house was conveniently close to everything, yet nice, quiet and secluded. The house was very well maintained and had little extras such as coffee, toilet paper and paper towel available. The owner checked in with us and was easy to work with. We would definitely return!
This was a beautiful home that was out in the country but still close to town and activities. We were not at the house much as we were out enjoying the near by attractions but was so comfortable for the evenings and perfect sleeping arrangements for our family. Would definitely recommend.
3 co-workers and I were in town to do some construction work at the Sault and Pickford and used this location as our home base. Susan was an absolute pleasure to work with and the property was better than than advertised with absolutely amazing views of the night sky and picturesque day time beauty. We especially found the deck patio fantastic!
Wonderful property suited well for our larger group. Very clean and comfortable house! Beautiful scenery to enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch in the mornings. Susan was excellent and very accommodating when we needed something. Will definitely be returning!
We loved our stay here! Everything was super clean. I was also very pleased with having condiments in the fridge! That was great so you didn’t have to buy them when you’re not gonna use it all for your stay! And the horses were gorgeous!
Our friend group, 3 couples, stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed this house. Very clean, modern, and the host was great to work with. Very easy check in, check out process. Fun to feed the horses! The only downside was not all 3 rooms had a full or larger mattress size. Otherwise, plenty of space and great living room/kitchen to socialize in. Just a great stay! We would definitely stay again!
I cannot say enough good things about this home. It was so clean and comfortable. We were there to attend a funeral. Waking up in the morning and seeing the horses in the backyard and the calmness on a country road is just what we needed to say goodbye to our family member. I would highly recommend. They even let us check in early and check out late due to the Mackinac bridge closing for a few hours. Thank you so much for everything. We know our go to place when we visit. Thank you!
Tale of 2 stays. The first 3 nights had no issues and cool nights allowed comfortable sleeping for my group of friends and me. Plenty of space for trucks and trailers we had for a race weekend. Sue is very friendly and accommodating.
The last 3 nights were not as good. We had an insect issue that Sue at least tried to provide a reasonable work around for but I came out of that with a lot of bug bites. After that, it warmed up outside and we found that the AC didn't work. Unfortunately the AC unit wasn't the only thing blowing hot air. Stan came by and attempted to gaslight me into thinking it was actually "cold as heck." Sue managed to stay honest, but this experience left us feeling pretty negatively. A moment of dishonesty can erase any good faith established. We got a hotel for that 5th night of 6 and went home a day early.
I regret scheduling the last 3 of 6 nights and spending any money toward that uncomfortable portion of the trip. I certainly overpaid for bug bites and no AC. But, I think if you have better luck, I can understand having a positive experience. But, I wouldn't go back.
