Beautiful family getaway

I think I can say for all three families total of ten-We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. So many activities to do on property, wonderful beach area, pontoon rental available, and many restaurants nearby. Fabulous family vacation!

Quiet And Relaxing Family Gathering Location

A great quiet and relaxing place to stay, yet close enough to stores and restaurants. Beautiful beach area and large deck are perfect for enjoying the weather. Kitchen was well stock for meal preparations and dining. House was spacious with plenty of seating and things to do.

Family Weekend

Our family had a great stay at this beautiful house! My family of 6, my sister and her daughter, and my mom and her friend. We all had a room, everything we needed, a great kitchen and gathering place, perfect weather and beautiful surroundings. We couldn't have asked for more!

Wedding Weekend

We had four couples along with a baby stay in this home while we were in town for a family wedding. The place was great for us--so much nicer than getting hotel rooms! The property was beautiful even though it was not peak season for outdoor activities; the home was clean and spacious and we enjoyed some of the games (pool, foosball, cards) in the home. It was nice to have laundry available as well. Communication from the host was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

We are 8 adults from MN, CO, AZ & MT. We found this place to be in a great location for all of the activities we had planned as well as for the two family reunions we attended. Everything was clean and well maintained. Check it out - you will not be disappointed.

This property was PERFECT. We had children from 4-14 and there was something for everyone. There was the beach and sand to play with, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing. In the yard was nice wooden swing set and fire pit. Nice deck off the LR to eat or just watch the kids play. We will definitely be back!

This place has everything!

Wow, this place has it all! We rent a house for a week every year with our family of 6 adults, and 3 young children. This was definitely our favorite! Room for everyone to spread out or be together watching a movie or having dinner. The deck is wonderful for evening grilling. The swing set was a hit and the tree swing was fantastic! The private beach was a blast and we enjoyed using the kayaks and renting the pontoon. You will love this one!

Wonderful family vacation thanks to this property!

Peaceful, private and huge spaces indoors and outdoors!! The house was very clean, has comfortable beds and even quality appliances. We raved about the floor plan and extra usable cabinetry in many rooms. Our grandkids enjoyed the Rainbow playset, clean sandy beach and raft. It is a short easy walk to the river. Fishing wasn't great. Water depth varied so lifejackets are a must. Karen and Dave are fabulous hosts! It was helpful when they showed us the property lines. We enjoyed hiking and took some beautiful family pictures there. Soooo many amenities! We'll bring less next time.

Wedding weekend

Such a beautiful property with so much attention to detail. We were there for our daughter’s wedding and we asked if it would be ok for the grooms dinner to be hosted with a food truck and yard games. We were graciously allowed to be able to do so. Everyone had a great time and the whole group watched the sunset from the beach. We really didn’t have time to enjoy all that the house has to offer, but a couple of the guys took kayaks out for a bit. We were also impressed with the fact that they have a high chair and a potty chair seat, along with a cute playroom and a beautiful playset outside, as well as the pool table and foosball and a great bar. Would highly recommend for any type of group.

Exceeded our expectations

We take a family trip every summer for a week to a waterfront VRBO somewhere in Minnesota, and this was by far the VRBO that we’ve liked the best! Peaceful, beautiful, super clean, great communication with the owners, all the entertainment that a family needs for a week without ever having to leave the property! The beach area is perfect for families with young children (safe, with soft sand and a gentle slope down to the water), and the whole family loved kayaking, as well as hiking around the amazingly-landscaped back yard and trails. At nighttime we had fun down in the “man cave” having pool tournaments. There is nothing lacking in the home as far as comfort, convenience, and a great environment goes. The inside of the home feels new, modern, bright, and spacious. We loved staying here and you will too.

We used this property for a small family gathering

This property made my job as hostess to a family gathering of 20 people so easy! My sisters and I showed up Friday night to prep for our family reunion and there was nothing to prep! Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of seating/eating area, A lot of space indoors and out. A waterfall, nice walking path, a beach...it was amazing for people from 8 to 80. I am hoping I can take advantage of this amazing spot in the summer and can utilize the beach and outdoor areas. If I could give it 10 stars I would. The hostess was patient and understanding with my inexperience with VRBO and from booking to walking in the door was an extremely smooth process. If I had any questions I would not have hesitated to call as she was very communicative and easy to work with.

Blessings Abound

6 sisters, 1 in-law, 1 cousin and 2 nieces (ages 16-75) had an amazing visit! We all felt very safe in this beautiful neighborhood. The home was completely outfitted with 5 lovely bedrooms, 3 very nice bathrooms and a completely stocked kitchen. We grilled kabobs outside and listened to the sweet waterfall feature as we dined on the expansive deck followed by a game of corn-hole. After a fun day of vintage/antique/thrift store shopping in St. Cloud we played in the Mississippi with the kayaks and paddle boards provided. The next day we visited the Franciscan convent in Little Falls and that evening enjoyed an "un-birthday party" with a gift exchange at the house. Those are just some of the highlights of memories that will last a lifetime - all made possible through this lovely VRBO property. Thank you

This was a lovely property that met all our needs and then some. We had our family there for three nights- ages ranging from 4 to 71. There was plenty to do for everyone. We will try to come back next Fall.
