The Neighborhood:

Welcome to the charming town of Saugatuck!



The SaugaBuck House is located just a five minute drive into town. Enjoy strolling Butler Street and hitting all the restaurants and shops this quaint town has to offer. From Saugatuck's famous art galleries to locally roasted coffee, jam and jelly shops. There is no shortage of fabulous places to ignite the senses. Saugatuck allows open container in the "social district" off Butler and Water Streets. Enjoy a beverage from one of the local watering holes and feel free to bring it with you as you walk the riverfront.



Get outside and enjoy the nature that the area has to offer! With two kayaks and two paddleboards that come included with your stay, you walk down to your private beach and hop in the Kalamazoo River. After an afternoon on the water, head back to the house to fire up the grill. Enjoy dinner at the large dining table inside or have a more casual dining experience by the campfire(BYOWood). There are so many activities at home base but when you are ready to check out the neighborhood you can head to one of the many trails/beaches in the area. Take a drive over to Oval Beach where the sand literally squeaks under your feet or head to the Saugatuck Dunes State Park for a super scenic hike through the dunes where the trees eventually open up to a view of Lake Michigan. Local wineries with tasting rooms are plentiful in the area just in case you were wanting to expand your knowledge or just experience something new.



While staying at an Upscale Lakeshore vacation home, you will enjoy nearby access to Lake Michigan and all the unsalted coast has to offer. Whether it’s spring, summer, fall and or winter, there is something for everyone to enjoy! From hiking and mountain biking to kayaking and paddle boarding, there are plenty of outdoor activities to choose from. And if you are visiting during the winter months, be sure to try out a wintery hike at the beach, snowshoeing and or cross-country skiing along the lakeshore.

Getting Around:

The SaugaBuck House is within a 5 minute drive of Downtown Saugatuck and Douglas!



The Interurban is a on call public transportation service that services Saugatuck/Douglas/Fennville. Simply call the number and request a pickup. $1 fares each way!

Bring your furry friends along on your next vacation! Please let us know in advance if you're bringing your pets with you. We happily welcome up to two dogs on our premises. A dog guest fee charge of $145 will apply (emotional support included and feline friends are prohibited)

All Upscale Lakeshore vacation rentals follow local and state tax rules. Your booking will include applicable taxes, a cleaning fee along with a safety and damage protection policy. We want to ensure the safety and security of our guests and properties. When you book a vacation home with us, you will be required to sign a rental agreement after booking along with completing a verification process. To complete the verification, you will be contacted via email and/or text message. Please be sure to complete this before your arrival, so we can confirm your reservation. Prior to booking, please reach out to us directly if you would like to see the rental agreement.



We recommend securing travel insurance to protect your investment should you need to cancel your reservation outside of the allotted window or due to inclement weather or any other factor.
