"The hotel is very good, excellent swimming pool and very near to the sea…. Comfortable bed, nice shower and a good breakfast, but it looks like they forgot to add a bar when designing the hotel! The bar was a little shack manned by too many staff that stuck to their job only. When the “man who only grilled food” appeared at the till… his arms went up not my job. When the ‘till guy” took 5 or 6 orders at a time, he didn’t help the “drinks person" and then we had to wait for the “serving person”....

"The view of the sunrise over the ocean was gorgeous from my room! The breakfast was so delicious- the apricot tart-wow! The bed was comfy, lots of pillows, black out curtains, very friendly desk personnel- free shuttle to train in morning. Only wish I had gotten a train from the train to the hotel the night before. But beware, it is an hour from Genoa by train and over two hours from Portofine."
