"Absolutely stunning resort! The cabana we stayed in was right on the beach with an incredible view of the bay. The room was very comfortable and had great amenities. Location is easy to get to and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I could see myself doing a much longer stay for sure!!! Highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy the peaceful beauty of Belize! "

"We had an ocean front suite that was immaculate inside, just needs some door seals to prevent the on shore breeze mixing with the foul stench of sargasm, the workers worked hard every day trying to clear it all. We loved relaxing on the jetti on the loungers, shame they didn't have one section to fish off of, no fishing allowed on their jetti, although you could just stand in the sea if need, as its really shallow.
Food was excellent, i just wished they wouldn't light the fire pit when the wind was on shore, filled the restaurant with smoke.
house reef/snorkel was rather dull, recommend they take their guests somewhere slightly better. "
"My husband and I just returned from Tranquility Bay Resort, and we absolutely loved this place! It truly looks like a picture of a tropical paradise.
The accommodation was great. The AC was quiet and worked very well, and our villa was equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We had our meals (breakfast and dinner) at the resort restaurant and found the food to be very good. The people working in the restaurant showed amazing hospitality and treated us like family.
My husband enjoyed fishing right in front of our cottage. All fishing gear and bait were provided by the resort. The sargassum didn’t affect us much—several people were cleaning the beach every day, and the ocean current at the resort carries the sargassum away and doesn’t let it accumulate.
We went snorkeling daily directly from the resort shore and were lucky to see an eagle ray, a stingray, and a nurse shark. However, some days were better than others, and on some days we didn’t see much.
We took two snorkeling excursions from the resort: to Shark Alley/Hol Chan and to Stingray City/Mexico Rocks. Both excursions were unique, and I highly recommend them. Thank you very much to Vincent and Leo, who made our experience so enjoyable."
"Everything what we wanted to do, we did and enjoyed. Bikes were available at no cost, we enjoyed to be able to bike to other resorts. Every day you had the choice for dinner outside or inside. The location is great, away from the busy San Pedro town, Golf Cart City. Nothing the people in the resort, do all to make your stay perfect. "
"AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!
This is described as the "honey moon suite" so we assumed it would be beautiful .
Terribly disappointed. The 1 bedroom condo , #503 was in desperate need of repair and was absolutely fility. The kitchen and bathroom fixtures were terribly corroded, the Jacuzzis tup did not work nor would I use it. No hot water in the shower. There is a big boat in the front of the property and behind it is construction garbage and is used as a burning pile..front of the building. The road view is completely bulldozed and left with dead trees. At one point this may have been a nice place but no longer!
I texted the manager several times for help with the unit but was ignored. We have also requested a refund.
We paid approximately $270 per night with cleaning fee. No one had cleaned. Floors were filthy, sheets and towels old and stained. No coffee maker in kitchen. The stairs to the unit were filthy and if you touched the handrail your hands were covered in dirt. The pool was immaculate..pool and ocean were visible from the balcony. Rail on the balcony was lose, chairs were filthy and table top. It was so dirty I was afraid to go barefoot...took towels and wiped the floors. There was an old torn throw rung by one side of the bed!! Cant make this up.
We almost left but couldn't find accommodations on short notice so we left all day. Beach was not cleaned up for a very long time and the sargosso was 4 ft deep, most resorts clean this daily. It stunk as well!!!! have pics"
"Our room was amazing with the lay out and an ocean view and walk out access. Jaime and Kay (the property managers) were wonderful (attentive and responsive) and our meals were culinary caliber and freshly prepared. The area was peaceful (no wall to wall bars like San Pedro) and NO sargassum! iIt is a bit of a trek from San Pedro but well worth it! The only concern we had was with their golf cart recommendation of MTK as the cart was older and had no suspension and comparing to other companies a big disappointment-the owner of MTK was not accommodating with reducing our rate"
