The Hotel Mövenpick at the airport in Zurich was excellent. They have a free shuttle that brings you to and from the airport. The rooms are very large and elegantly appointed, and comfortable for a stay.
The cozy restaurant in the Swiss country style was a total disappointment; the food they served was mediocre at best and very expensive. So, eating dinner in the city would be my recommendation.

Travelers should know that this hotel is being renovated. No notice was provided and rooms were rented that are severely impacted by the ongoing construction. Standard double rooms are very small. Superior rooms are adequately sized.
Construction work impacted stay for our traveling companions; particularly air conditioning. Our bathroom had a faint but distinct sewage odor.
We were unable to try breakfast as it did not open until 7am and we had an early train.
Overall, I am amazed that management continues to rent rooms during construction, they are doing guests well and themselves a huge disservice.
On the positive side; the hotel location is great; good access to cafes and restaurants in old town.
