Very remote. Quite and just what we were wanting. Grandson's enjoyed fishing and the view from the dining room was very relaxing. Liked watching the floates go by. We would stay here again
We had a fun holiday weekend in this funky property just outside Saratoga. Great fishing and very secluded. The two houses are both like time capsules from the 60s/70s, which is fun, but if you have any sensitivity to dust or mold, you'll feel it. Besides fishing, our favorite things were drinking morning coffee in the rocking chairs on the catwalk between the houses and the many bald eagles that would visit the rock canyon across the river from the dining room. So cool!!
Great property for us old guys. We enjoy the stay and the fishing. Slept great

Perfect Fishing Getaway
After 2 perfect days of fishing, swimming, and relaxing at this gorgeous property, our group of 7 all agreed that we will be coming back to the Fishing Ranch! The property offers stunning views, fantastic access to the river, and all the comforts one needs while vacationing in a truly unique Wyoming location. The ranch is somewhat remote, so be sure to bring all the consumables you anticipate you will need (trust me, you won't want to leave to go pick up some milk and eggs). Also advisable is a vehicle with some clearance for traveling on the ranch roads. Our stay was much to short; next time will be longer!

Disliked: Amenities, communication
The property was absolutely no where near where the website said it was. It was in a beautiful spot but 25 minutes drive away from town!!! It was difficult to get hold of the host (he replied to a phone call 23 hours afterwards). I am very frustrated that I can’t seem to find a phone number to speak to a representative about this

Did Not Get What We Paid For!!!
Beautiful scenery and private which was good! Both cabins were below standard and surprised VRBO would even allow they are rented out! Was dirty plus mouse droppings and spiders.Out of four showers only could use one as 3 bedroom cabin had no hot water and upstairs shower had mold. One shower didn’t even have a shower head! The orange and green shag carpet and furniture made it appear owners moved out in the 70’s and changed nothing. Understand not having AC but if there were screens on the windows could open them. Had to go in to Saratoga to buy a fan so could sleep. Mattresses and pillows old and uncomfortable. And mirrors above the upstairs bed was just weird. One mile of fishing really excited us but not possible as mosquitoes were terrible!
Our family had a nice stay nestled next to the river. We had everything we needed. Bringing our own drinkable water was a little hassel. The houses have not been updated which was fun but also comes with a few issues. We all enjoyed exploring the river, fishing, and being together in the home.
The property is a secluded paradise for fly fishing, hiking and outdoor fun. There is plenty of room for a large group and the accommodations are very comfortable. A wonderful breezeway between the main house and bunkhouse provides wonderful views of the river canyon. A resident bald eagle flies the canyon each day. Easy communication with the caretaker. A memorable wonderful Wyoming vacation.
Perfect place for a large crowd with amazing river access
The retro vibe of this place was great. We loved the nostalgia and the hiking and fishing. I do feel like renters should be aware that this is a country property and that does involve bugs, mice, lizards, etc. We are country people so it was fine but I’m not sure someone not used to that would be as comfortable. Plenty of room for a large group. We enjoyed our stay.
This was a awesome place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Outstanding experience
The ranch was awesome. The fishing was good, even with low seasonal water levels. The views and the seclusion were great. The ranch house was lots of fun - we had 3 adults and 2 kids, and the walkway between the 2 buildings was a big hit. We loved it.

Complete seclusion
Upon booking, I knew this place was off the beaten path. I wasn't disappointed. Even though both houses were a throwback to the 70's, it added a certain charm that is difficult to find. The fishing was superb, and we went during a cooler period in the summer. The fly fishing was slower than I would have liked, but there were still plenty to catch other ways. The average size of the fish was astonishing ranging from 8" up to 22" with the majority being in the 17" range. All the fish were very healthy and well fed. The daily bald eagle fly by was a nice bonus. Definitely a place to look into if you like to catch big trout and enjoy spending time in solitude. No complaints.

A fine fishing camp
This area is very interesting. Our 3 generation family of 7 was very comfortable. a lovely view from the dining table. The kids loved the games provided. It was exciting seeing an eagle cruise the river several times.
However we would certainly recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle for accessing the place. There had been rain and the drive was deeply rutted.
In the info sent a week before it was noted there was no potable water and it would have to be brought in. The Conoco station in Saratoga kindly allowed us to fill our jugs from its outside tap.
There was no TV and no dishwasher as the listing said.
The place was clean enough for a fishing camp but perhaps below standards for other use.
Nice scenery.
There was a $50 a person river access fee for any number over 4.
Our primary activity was hiking in the Snowy Range. Three of us fished.
Dinner at the Wolf Hotel in Saratoga is always good. As are the Hot Springs.
This would be an excellent fishing camp.
