This rental offers complete Kitchen, tile floors, Queen size sleeper sofa, dining table and relaxing front porch and two car garage. The master bedroom has a Queen size bed, extra large closet with washer and dryer. Guest bedroom with full size bed. Large bath with shower and linens for bath and beds. Kitchen is complete with stove , microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven and cooking utensils. There are beach chairs, towels, and coolers, so just bring your suitcases. This Guest House offers privacy in a quiet neighborhood and yet is just minutes from the beach, shopping, restaurants, golf courses and other amenities. A non-smoking guest home.

Great trip to Florida

Great location to multiple gulf beaches. Hosts were wonderful. Property is clean and in a good area. Loved that the beach amenities were here for guests to use like cooler, umbrella, sand toys and chairs. Would stay again.

Relaxation at the beach

The place was great!!! Kathy and Jerry are excellent hosts!!! They even invited us for thanksgiving dinner with their family and friends! Very relaxing time!!!

Comfortable and close to everything!

Check in process was easy. Communication with the owner effortless. Location close to the beach, restaurants, yet still private & quiet. We will book again if available when in Venice.

Convenient access to beaches and shopping needs

The rental was clean, conveniently located to beaches and shopping, and a pleasant place to relax after a busy day in the area. The rental is a guest house in the back tucked behind the owner’s house. All went well with our stay.

Excellent Experience!

The property is private, very pleasant and convenient to beach, shopping and restaurants. The hosts are nearby and friendly, but not at all intrusive. Comfortable beds and furniture. Would definitely stay here again!

House was perfect. 3 miles from beach. Host very helpful and they provide more than I expected. I saved a lot of money not having to buy paper towels, cleaning supplies, trash bags, paper plates, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soaps, etc. the beach supplies were awesome as well. We look forward to coming back

Most Awesome Place

Wonderful, charming, comfortable and convenient place to stay! The hostess and host are lovely people who we can be comfortable with! It is cutely decorated with beach theme! All the conveniences of home and then some! We’ve stayed several times over the years and will continue to, as long as its available! We’ve already booked next year and may book again for the fall if we can fit it in our schedule! Love this place and our hosts, Cathy & Jerry! We always feel welcomed and accommodated there!

Very pleased!

The property is somewhat remote, which is good. And, truly only about 4 minutes to drive to the exceptional Manasota State Park Beach. The host, Kathy, is very helpful and responsive!

Great Vacation Spot!

My husband and I, along with our 3.5 month old, spent a long weekend here and it’s the perfect spot! Great location! It’s quiet but also close to everything. The beds are comfortable and the hosts thought of everything. For our baby, we set up the pack n play in the second bedroom and they even provided an inflatable infant bathtub. The house was very clean and we would 100% stay here again!

This little cottage is perfect for a get away. We booked this for a small girls trip and we loved it from start to finish. The cottage made us feel so safe and secure. The house smelled clean and was SO nice. The host was also very quick to respond. It is also a very close drive to the beach. We will definitely book again.

Birthdary trip

We were celebrating my nephew's girlfriend's 21 birthday. The house was amazing. It was clean and had everything we needed. Kathy was so nice and helpful. We were less than 2 miles from the beach. The beds were comfortable, the decor was beach themed and very relaxing. I will be staying here again.

Explore and Relax

The home was excellent—just the right space for my teenage son and me as we visited family. The bedrooms and bathroom were nice, and the living space and outdoor patio area were great. The only minor issue was the neighbor, who has dogs, and they would be out barking late at night, but that was not the hosts' fault; it is just something to be aware of.

Delightful Cottage

This cottage is amazing! So clean and comfortable. We loved that it is only a few miles from a beautiful white sand beach! Perfect location tucked away on a dead end road made it wonderfully quiet and private. Having a garage was a plus and having it stocked with beach chairs, shell rake and other beach supplies was a blessing. The host was very welcoming and had great communication with us. We loved it and hope to go back in the future!

Lovely property!

We stayed as a family of 4, two adults and two kids plus our 8lb dog. Property is a detached mother in law type of property that is very well maintained and clean. Hosts were incredibly responsive and kind. The location is ideal just a couple of minutes to Manasota Beach which is great to find shark teeth. Very private and spacious outdoor area with swing. We were comfortable and had great wifi. The added laundry room and spacious garage were a huge plus! We have stayed in MANY vacation rentals and this one was one of our favorites because it was clean and comfortable. Look forward to staying again!

Just what I needed!

This was exactly as I had hoped for! It was in a quiet area, and private, but yet close enough to the beach to just jump in the car and go! The owners are wonderful and communicate quickly. This little hidden gem is a must when in Venice! My little four legged baby enjoyed being able to roam and play, or just sit on the back patio and relax! Oh, and you truly don’t need anything except your suitcase! The owners have everything you need waiting for you!

Serendipity

From the moment I opened the door I knew that I had found the perfect vacation rental. The House was immaculate and stocked with everything one would need for a trip away from home. Each of the two beds were very comfortable, the water in the soer was hot, there were more than enouch twel, sheets, etc. It was evident that care was taken in the choosing charming decor and the comfort of the guest. It was a true delight sitting on the porch and drinking coffee each morning. Kathy (the host) kept in touch from the moment I booked the stay to the last day. I LOVED my stay here.

Just what we needed

We enjoyed the location/distance to my family who live in South Venice. The space was perfect for our family of 3. Had a garage to park inside if you wanted. The hosts were present at check in even though we got in late. They Communicated the water conditions at the beach when a rip current was in effect. Would be perfect for anyone there to visit the beach, they had all the beach necessities so you wouldn’t need to bring anything with you. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic worry-free stay!

This place was perfect for my kids and I and our husky. Everything that you could possibly need was available inside the home. Private and beautiful. The master room was perfect and had a roomy washer and dryer closet with full length mirror that I planned to buy when I got there and didn’t need to once I saw there was one! My kids loved the tree swing! I had my own personal issues while there and they were so empathetic and understanding and worked with me making it much less stressful on that end. They even had beach toys and chairs to use! We will be back next month!
