Very nice location to stay. Staff were friendly and our unit had a full kitchen which we really appreciated. Walkable to a couple cute restaurants and bars. Would stay there again.

Family and I stayed here for spring break and the facilities were awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful. The are is still cleaning up after the hurricane, but it definitely did not affect the fun in the area. We will be planning a return trip.

They are still cleaning up after hurricanes, our cottage was clean and taken care of. A little more expensive to stay, but is Anna Marie island. Will probably try to stay there again. Looking for better deal

Amazing resort, will be coming back!

Only good things to say about the Tradewinds. We have stayed at the Tortuga twice and loved it. Tradewinds was equally as awesome. Loved the pool location, communication was great by staff.

Super cute and convenient little resort! We will definitely stay again. The beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels provided were a major perk! Easy walk to and from the beach and trolly stop. The bed and sheets weren’t the most luxurious feeling, but for the price I’m not complaining. Everyone that we encountered at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful.

This was a wonderfully maintained property. Great location. Private beach just across the street. Clean and inviting pool. We felt very relaxed and safe there and the other people that stayed were kind. Nice family culture. Loved the fishing pier and view of the water. Staff were very helpful and welcoming! I Would definitely return with my family again.

It was hard to tell what this property was like from the pictures posted, but on arrival was much better than my expectations. Easy to find, adorable colorful cottages, and a friendly staff greeted my husband and I. Our cottage was updated, clean and on a quiet lane. Neighbors were friendly. The pool , ocean, and dock were all within a minute’s walk. Great location and hope to be able to book a stay again next year!

If you like to be close to the beach and have a pool that’s open late, this is the perfect place to stay. There’s a stunning sunrise over the lake in the morning and a beautiful beach at the other side of the road. It won’t take you more than a couple of minutes to walk over. If you’re into excellent food, you have to go to town or further south, and the road gets pretty busy in the weekends. So it took us an hour to go to town on a Friday because of traffic. But if being close to the beach is your priority, this is a perfect place. The hotel is so nice and quiet, and especially with kids it’s so practical to have a kitchen with everything you need. We also took the shuttle up North to go on a Dolphin trip and the shuttle is great. It’s free and the kids loved it. Very easy. Only disappointment was the bed it was so worn, that I woke up with a sore back and neck every morning. The mattress is terrible, it really needs a change. The room was nice and clean, did have a damp smell to it, like a cottage in the woods can smell when left alone for a while - might be the air conditioning, it was on when we arrived, but I didn’t use during our stay, and it did get better. Super nice and quiet in the evening and friendly and helpful staff. But that mattress really needs a change - I regret not saying anything while staying there. Number 12. If you really want a good sunrise spot, choose the rooms right by the sea. I would do so next time.

We stayed in one of the property’s two bedroom cottages because we had our grandson with us. It was spacious and the kitchen was well appointed. There was a very nice screened porch attached with a table and chairs which was excellent to have. The negatives were the old furnishings which looked a little dirty and the tile floors were very old with dirty grout. Other than that the place was pretty clean. The beach area that is associated with the property had chairs and that was a nice bonus. On the other side of the property there is a beautiful pool area and a wharf out onto Anna Maria Sound. Unfortunately it was closed due to damage during Hurricane Milton. The area is very nice because the island is very “skinny“ there with water very near on all sides. My last comment is that we learned that the cottages are all privately owned by individual owners so the pictures attached to this listing may be of some that have been more recently renovated than ours was.
