Tiny Room

The daily cleaning staff was very nice and friendly. It was disappointing our room was very small! Once we pulled out the bed from the wall there was very little room to move around the room. We had to move the table and chair in from of the entrance door just to get the bed down. The bathroom didn't have a tub just a shower which was fine, but for the price of the room this was not a very good stay. I did enjoy that they had chair that we could take down to the beach and use on a daily factor. If this room was used for one person this would be great, however since there were two of us we were really cramped.

Great place!

Great location. Nice staff. Beach chairs and umbrella provided. Very clean and comfortable. I’ll be back! We found a lot of sharks teeth there too.

We’ll be back to Suntan Terrace!

Suntan Terrace had everything we needed right on the beach! Chaise lounges & umbrellas made all the difference for us fair skinned types! Unit # 8 was a fabulous one bedroom apartment with an upper level deck on the gulf for fabulous sunsets, nice shade in the morning too. We had a friendly Snowy Eacret visit us every day who would drink water perched on the edge of the bowl. Fabulous spot, a real find. Very clean!

A gem of a hotel!

LOVE this property! Such a cute hotel, felt more like an apartment. Absolutely loved the location and the hotel. The manager was super friendly and made check in a breeze. The beds were so comfortable, they were memory foam and nice surprise. Will definitely stay here again!

Proposal weekend getaway.

This was our second stay at the Suntan Terrace and both times have been excellent. This visit I proposed to my girlfriend on the beach right outside the resort , everything went perfect. It was away from the crowds, so we could actually have a private moment, there was nobody around - but when you looked down the beach at the public area, it was packed. It's very laid back at the Suntan Terrace, the rooms are nice, and the beach is great. This time we got room 15, which overlooked the canal - we loved it. The people we talked to on both visits were repeat customers for years (some even decades), that's the sign of something good. There were a couple things that were a little off, nothing major. The floor was a little sticky and warped in certain sports. Seems like it wasn't mopped before we got there. The ice machine was down, kind of a bummer, but there was plenty of ice cube trays in the freezer that we filled. Also, our coffee maker didn't work. That was promptly replaced when we brought it to the office. Definitely things that would not deter us from coming back. We'll be back year after year, it's truly a hidden gem and now it holds extra special meaning for me and my fiancé.
