Silver Sands Serenity – Unit 234 by RVA

RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.



Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #234 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.



Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

A few days in paradise

It was just a perfect stay. Staff was so pleasant and helpful. The other guests were as well. The beach and pool were phenomenal!! Close proximity to St Armand’s Cirlce which has all sorts of shops and restaurants to choose. The restaurants nearby were also very nice with great food and service!!

Very nice, low key resort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time I have stayed at this resort. The first time was in a balcony room and the view of the ocean is amazing from there, but due to back issues, I chose one on the ground floor. The room was immaculate, and I was very impressed with the lady at the front desk. I had a couple of minor problems which she immediately addressed (toaster was broken---got a new one, tv was messed up and she fixed it). My main complaint was the mattress. It definitely needs to be replaced with a more comfortable one, and so do the pillows. The bathroom could use an update, but it was fine. I was very pleased with the number of plates, dishes, pots and pans, etc. that were provided.This is not a huge, 5 star resort, but it's really nice if you are looking for a laid back experience at the beach. The pool is also kept immaculate, and the umbrellas and beach chairs are complimentary. I was very grateful that the resort has purchased some taller beach chairs, which is really helpful when one is recovering from back surgery and getting up from a low chair is painful.

Perfect place

The location, accommodation and friendly staff made this the perfect getaway. Steps away from the beach in a quiet area. It is an older property but our rental was clean and had all the basics you need. We will definitely return.

Our experience was great. Loved the unit we shared with our two daughters. The pool and beach access made the trip fun. Everything on the property was well kept and very clean. Our unit was well equipped, and we found it to be quiet. We took advantage of the free bike rental too. We give Silver Sands high marks!

I can't wait to come back! It was so much nicer than the pictures.

I believe the property manager's name is Brian, what an outstanding employee. So friendly, his recommendations on where to go were spot on, always a smile and the guy never stopped working! He was all over helping anyone that needed it from the time he got there until the day was over. Work ethic and attitude like that are rarely seen anymore. My grandmother was so impressed as well and she can be quite picky! 😉 I can't wait to come back.

Amazing place for a family getaway

This was a perfect place to spend some days relaxing under the sun, the beach is just a few steps away, a lovely clean pool to enjoy. Close to great little restaurant, and other cool little places to have fun and enjoy.

Shuffleboard and putt putt where great additions to the heated pool and easy beach access. Yummy restaurants close by and great beach area with chairs and umbrellas.
