Breathtaking Beach Front Property Ground Floor Condo

Granite and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The living room’s sliding patio door provides first floor access (no stairs) to the beach, heated pool, and a courtyard with shuffle board and outdoor grills.

This fully equipped condo comfortably accommodates six people with: master bedroom (king) & bathroom with a flat screen TV; 2nd bedroom with two twin beds (can slide together to form a king); second full bathroom; den with queen size pull out sofa bed, loveseat and flat screen SMART TV; dining room for 6 people, large patio adjacent to the pool; and a full kitchen that includes all items necessary for cooking.

Additional amenities include free Netflix in the den and living room, a Blue Ray player, an in-unit washer and dryer, unlimited local and long distance calling. In unit full size wash machine and dryer, beach umbrellas and water toys.

Sibling trip

The condo was perfect for a long weekend visiting my aunt on Longboat Key. The place was as expected, clean, kitchen supplied with necessary items, a deck just off the pool. Great staff with easy check in and out. I will stay here again

Quite and clean

It's a great location and very clean. It's surprisingly quiet being so close to the pool. We did have an issue with the air conditioning, but it was fixed first thing the next morning. We'll be coming back next year.

Enjoyable stay

A comfortable stay in a lovely area. Beautiful beach and good locality to other areas (St Armands and Siesta Key). Check in was good with friendly staff. Accommodation was nice, although while the complex is located on the beach front, the accommodation itself is set a little way back. We assumed we would open doors onto the beach. Enjoyable stay though.

Very Nice Property and Unit

We booked this unit to attend a family wedding on Longboat Key. Located nicely mid-key with easy access to restaurants and stores. Great location on the Gulf side of the key with a pool and the beach just outside our door.

Excellent Beach rental

Upscale, very well kept condo with all the necessary items for a pleasant vacation. Quality towels and linen. Very clean and tastefully decorated. No clutter. Highly recommend.

Great vacation place

Condo was nicely decorated and very clean. Short stroll to a beautiful private beach. Nice to have lounge chairs and beach towels provided. With only 60 units Sand Cay is not crowded. Would love to stay again, but my time is already booked for 2025.

Perfect getaway

The location was perfect! The condo was very clean and comfortable. Loved having an assigned parking spot. It was great having the beach chairs already in the beach and umbrellas and coolers in our condo. Being in the first floor was great with the exception of hearing people running around in the unit above us. Even so, we would stay there again!

Longing for Longboat

Matt’s unit was perfect. Everything you could ever need was supplied, Sara in the management office was thorough and helpful in regards to amenities and things to do in the area. The property was spotless as was the unit. I can’t wait to come back!

Great property

My family and I stayed here in February 2025. This is a fantastic unit! First of all not only is the unit very clean, the entire property is very clean. The heated salt water pool is 5 steps from the patio and the ocean/beach is about 100 steps away. The unit is furnished very nicely including all kitchen stuff. Having a washer/dryer is a huge perk especially with kids. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely come back in the future. The owner is very responsive and answered all my questions prior to our arrival. Can’t say enough good things about this listing.

The location of this place is amazing—steps from the pool and the gulf. The beach is gorgeous and having chairs provided is such a nice plus. The condo itself is perfectly adequate, though not fancy. It was clean, though could use a decorating refresh. If you are super sensitive to noises, you may want to look elsewhere as the walls seem pretty thin (eg hearing footsteps from upstairs early in the morning). Overall, we had a great stay and would stay again/recommend to friends.

Long Boat Key Get away

Condo is steps from the beautiful white sands of the Gulf, right next to the pool. Had everything we needed just could use a bit updating in shower/bathrooms, doors, trim and bedroom dressers. The main living area was comfortable, kitchen was sufficient. Could not ask for a better location, lots of places to shop, eat, and just enjoy the coastal living. Property management was delightful.

First Time Staying on LBK

My family and I had a wonderful first time stay on Longboat Key at Matthew’s condo. The condo was very spacious and clean. It had a great layout with the two living spaces, large dining table and two bathrooms with tubs. It was nice having the washer and dryer inside the unit. Bring detergent and dryer sheets if you plan on doing any laundry. If you plan to eat at the condo a lot, make sure to bring extra paper towels, trash bags & dish soap. Some is provided and will get you by for a couple of days. The location of the unit was perfect! Not far from the parking lot, the trash, the pool, shuffle board, tennis courts, and of course the gorgeous beach! Beach towels, chairs and toys among other things are provided inside the unit. It was great to be able to have a Publix and CVS so close! Highly recommend staying here! Very kid & family friendly!

Yearly Summer Beach Vacation

We give this unit a B-. My family of 5, 3 girls ages 7,9,&13 had a great time at this resort .The unit fell short of our expectations it needs some maintenance.We could not use the sofa bed it was soiled.Bedding in. master was also stained.Had to purchase inflatable mattress.Dryer in unit was broken which was selling point for us to book with 3 kids. Unit was well stocked with everything you need to cook quick meals &for the beach included towels and beach toys coolers etc. Quiet beach no huge gatherings or loud music or smoking. Publix&CVS very close by and ice cream shops. Office staff very friendly.Will look into renting other units at Sand Cay for next year.

Sand Cay is delightful! Been staying there for years. Our room was exactly as described. Clean comfortable and well stocked. Easy access to pool beach parking etc. loved it!

Property is well kept and clean. Great location on the beach and plenty of beach chairs available. We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had a small problem with the dishwasher and they sent someone out to fix it right away. Furniture in the unit was a bit worn out, but overall had everything we needed for a short stay. We will be back!

We had a lovely stay at the Sand Cay. The beach access is great, the salt water pool was amazing, the grounds are very well kept! The location is close to shopping and dining. However, the room could have been cleaner. We had roaches and tiny bugs in the kitchen. The ceiling fans in each room were very dusty. The furniture was EXTREMELY uncomfortable!!
