"Lovely hotel on the hill above Ayamonte, a very peaceful location with a beautiful view of the sunset over the river which is the border with Portugal. Clean, good service, ideal if you want to explore the area and stay in a relaxing and chilled space."

"This place was great. The kids loved their room and the pool. We ended up swimming there every day.We drove from Portugal so my phone stopped working once we crossed the bridge. That complicated things. I should have saved the instructions and directions, and I should have brought the cleaning fee in cash. That would have helped things start off better.We will likely return in the future. I highly recommend this place."

"The most wonderful villa. Everything was absolutely perfect for our family of 10, ranging in ages from 70 to 2. Check in was seamless as we were met and given a tour of this enormous property. So much room and stocked with everything you could possibly need. We made great use of the barbecue and lovely kitchen. Entertainment for everyone, great tvs and wifi. Great to have ample bath and pool towels. Comfortable beds and full air conditioning, which we were grateful for. Most of our time was spent outside in the pool, morning, noon and night and we chose to eat outside as well. Able to stroll to the very small village store which had all essential and lovely fresh bread in the morning. The villa is easily accessible from the main roads and only 5 minutes from larger towns and beaches. Uber works very well and very reasonable in this area and we took advantage of this for nights out. Our hostess Christine went out of her way to make this holiday amazing even before we arrived, much appreciated. Perfect 70th birthday and we so hope we can return here. "

"Some issues but as the property is old there are bound to be some. Any issues were dealt with quickly. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the availability of parking. A pre cursor to the municipal parking restrictionswould be helpful in a welcome pack.Great hosts, great property."
