Excellent at first site. Staff very friendly and supportive. All windows are single pan, so you can hear everything outside. Honking, people, cars and animals all night! Hardly slept! The shower doors are broken, so wasn't able to close shower properly causing water to go everywhere. Otherwise very nice hotel.

For the price, this is an extremely good value. It won’t impress anyone, but I never felt unsafe, unclean, disrespected, etc. The staff were wonderful and quite friendly. The area is amazing. In my country, a hotel at this price would be potentially dangerous but here the low price is just frugality, there is nothing wrong with it. You get all the essentials. The room was clean, the bathroom was the more dissapointing part but it wasn’t dirty, it had warm water that worked instantly, the toilet functioned etc. I would stay here again for sure (someone with more money than me would want to opt for something more expensive if it were a romantic trip for instance). I went up for breakfast at the time they said and there was no breakfast available. It’s on their rooftop and the view isn’t beautiful but it’s nice to be able to eat outdoors without any possible interference, it’s relaxing. It seems they have a chef who cooks to order and she ran out of inventory. I waited 40 mins before giving up. The ppl who’d been able to get food before me looked to be enjoying it and I would guess that the food is good - I saw eggs and a few other things. I probably got unlucky in terms of the timing for breakfast, but just don’t expect food to be ready already. Its a small hotel, it makes sense they don’t cook until they know you want it. At this price I feel like I’d be stealing them to get the breakfast included too!

We had a bit of difficulty at the beginning due to the fact that they were over booked and the room we had confirmed wasn’t available. The hotel front desk agent wasn’t polite, she was actually a bit rude. We had to contact the third party customer service to try to assist us and when we did the hotel front desk agent said forget it that she will handle it. And gave us the room and said she will just have to deal with the other guest when they arrive

Hotel Jade was perfect! Thanks so much! Close to Ciudad Colonial, it felt very safe, the staff at the front door and the locked door to the hotel at night really helped to feel very safe. I did not have breakfast there but it is available, there is AC included in the room charge, the rooms are clean, there is hot water, the hotel is overall very nice tile and updated, and the price was perfect!
