Reasonable and near the city center.
It was very close to city center, it takes just 3 minutes.
The staff is so kind and the breakfast was cooked by staff and so nice!
However the hot water didn't keep running. It turned to be cool earlier. The staff didn't stay in the reception, I couldn't ask.
Excellent staff and excellent services and facilities

Cute hotel.
We were in room 5 and the A/C was struggling to cool the room. It may need some maintenance. The room was nice, clean and a good size with a pretty balcony. Breakfast was perfect and managed well by a senora on her own. Stairs are steep and challenging for us with pets and my husband with a bad knee, but I believe they have rooms on the first floor. It was a bit noisy at night because our room overlooked the park and there are a couple cafes nearby but everything got quiet after midnight. It may be noisier on weekends. We probably won't stay again because of the stairs but otherwise it is cute and nicer than many other places in the Colonial Zone.
En plein coeur du centre historique, on peut tout visiter à pieds. Acceuil sympa de Pascal (français), propriétaire de l'hotel et de ses employés. 2 jours sur place très sympathique. Je recommande
A wonderfully situated little place with character, and super helpful staff. I was originally in room 4 but that night saw a mouse in the room -- the staff immediately searched the whole room, found a hole in the back of the closet and apparently blocked it up the next day. They immediately moved me to a nicer room (room 5 -- beautiful with a great view, although a little noisy at night as people sit in the park and play music).
This little guesthouse is very well located-we love being in the colonial zone! The house is charming and authentic. The owner met us as we arrived and was very friendly. The lady managers were also nice and helpful. I loved the big windows with beautiful drapes with shell print and lots of light. The bed linen was very nice and kind of silky. They provided us with a nice breakfast, complimentary shower gel and soap. We felt safe.
Both my boyfriend and I found the place to be clean, he however mentioned, that it could still be improved. There were some small problems with electricity and hot water. We both are easy when it comes to sleeping with noise, so although we acknowledged the loud street outside-it didn’t create any problem for us. Paying in cash is always a bit more trouble, since we do not like to carry cash, but it was worth it!

Location is next to a small park/plaza with low traffic noise. Hotel has a nice rooftop where food is served, and also couches for relaxing. Breakfast is good with plenty of food and fresh fruit. Staff is very helpful. Great location for walking around the Zona Colonial.

Overall ok. The bathroom sink was leaking. I was only there for one night so I made due. They gave my upgraded room to another party and I waited 3 hours for them to change it. The area is nice but can be loud. The floors could be cleaner .
The room was large and very bright with a balcony and a terrace overlooking a beautiful park. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was fine. Breakfast was fine. The location of the hotel is very good...just a few blocks from The cathedral or the Malecon.
When we checked in for a two night stay, we were informed that they had overbooked our room for the following night; consequently we had to move to another hotel. Secondly, the amenities were not as per the ad, nor was the hot tub up and running, very disappointed. To beat all, when we tried to pay, we were advised when I called, that they were actually closed .. my thought .. no overbook, just wanted a day off, now on the other hand, Casa Neimi's (the hotel that we moved to) superb staff, excellent service and facilities more than made up for our disappointment.
Great service by very nice people. They tried to accommodate me in any way. The hotel is in a great location, close to the most historic area of Santo Domingo.
