Last time I was at this property was 16 years ago. I decided to go back to Boca Chica. I took a last min. weekend trip and I'm glad I did. The hotel was great, food was good, casino was feet away. I have no complaint. I certainly recommend this place to anyone. rooms were clean, AC was amazing. The Beach Bar area was the best place to at night. Thank you to all.

The property is forgotten in all aspens. Needs to be updated and upgraded. I visited a 5 star hotel that charges less than la hamaca . But I give it to the staff . They are the one keeping this place open. Very friendly. Food it was ok.

The hotel seems to have had quite a golden era in the past. It has a privileged location nearby the airport (15 min) & has a beautiful private beach! The room areas & elevators are very old. My room had lots of humidity with the AC panel bursting water & found termites on the room’s desk. The rooms are huge & have a great decor but they lack maintenance. The overall experience was nice because the pool & beach area were awesome

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my stay at this property. The room smelled very musty and moldy, and after we showered, there was water all over the floor. There is no Wi-Fi in the room just in the lobby and the pool area. The staff were pleasant, and the breakfast food was nice. Sadly, wouldn’t return.

The staff at this hotel are very ignorant, the only staff who were polite were the ladies who cleaned my room and 2 x bar staff, the rest of the staff were not interested.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. I was skeptical about booking it since it had low ratings and reviews, but I loved my stay there. I had booked a standard room and they gave me a free upgrade to a presidential suite. Loved the beach area and pool facilities. It is great for the price! There was some like construction noise at some point, but not for long and I did not mind. If you are a tourist I would not walk at night outside the hotel at Duarte street. Besides that, I would stay there again. I really liked it.
