"The hotel is very pleasant and is located just a few metres from the walled part of the beautiful medieval town of Monsaraz. We were warmly welcomed by Ana, who did her best to accommodate us and even gave us an upgrade. The sunset seen from the beautiful pool area is spectacular. We had dinner at the Sabores de Monsaraz restaurant, which is very close to the hotel, and it was one of the best meals we had in Portugal. "

Good secure parking, pleasant sitting area near the bar with a very good painting of bulls . Breakfast was good. Only complaint was that the season changed the air conditioning to winter although the outside temperature was near 30, and the window could not be opened , so the room was quite warm for sleeping, "
