Hotel Palace Santarem
The Wi-Fi was inconsistent, and the noise within the hallway was very loud. However, the staff were always considerate. You can quickly walk to places of interest, so location is great.

Ok hotel on waterfront. But service quality is poor and it is not just language. The night reception fellow spoke enough English once we found him to get us to our room but the woman in the morning had no interest in trying to deal with a foreigner.
