A great hotel with helpful staff. Good location from which to explore the beach and headland. There is parking available but there is also plenty of street parking right outside the hotel (at least there is in mid-April). Would highly recommend.

It's an exellent hotel close to the beach and also public transportations which easily takes you to the centre. Nice long beachwalk. There are also nice sourroundings, bar/restaurants and supermarkets.

I can’t say enough the hotel is beautiful. The area is beautiful nine minutes till one of the most beautiful beaches and Broad walks. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the front desk to the cooks. Too the housekeeping I enjoyed my stay immensely.

Great Hotel

We had a lovely three nights stay at Hotel Santemar. Staff were very friendly and helpful, it is a comfortable and well located hotel only minutes from the beautiful Sardinero beach. I would happily recommend this hotel for a stay in Santander.

Beautiful and well kept hotel. It’s equivalent to a high end hotel in Chicago or NY but a fraction of the cost. Beautiful area with plenty of walking paths and only a few meters to the beach.

Lovely hotel in a great location.

Lovely hotel,a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute bus ride from the city centre.Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated with a nautical theme.Though we didn't use any of the hotel's facilities, there was an on site gym,disco,bar and restaurant.

Fabulous hotel but noisy guests

The hotel, the location and the staff were all really good. The only downside was the weekend we chose to go there happened to be when there was some motorbike convention. We were on the 5th floor with a sea view only to be woken at 7.30 each morning by revving motorbikes.
