"Lovely apartment with great views and a good location for exploring Madeira. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of hiking, and there was a small charcoal BBQ to use. There is also a small local bar a short walk up the road for groceries or a beer/poncha without needing to drive."

"Property was in a great location, clean, welcoming, and a bargain. Slightly difficult to find the first time then was easy sailing. Communication from host was top notch. Only difficulty i experienced was adjusting to the height of ceilings. I struck my head routinely on the sloped ceilings, between rooms, and especially bathroom. I am approximately 71.5 inches/182cm for reference. My daughter at 63 inches/160cm was fine. All in all we enjoyed our stay!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Between the Sea and Mountains! The home was cozy with so much character. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ outside in the little courtyard and in the kitchen, it had everything we needed. We loved ending our days on the balcony overlooking the ocean and mountain reflecting on the amazing day we had hiking. We would 100% recommend staying here!"
