"The “Terrible”overall rating is due to the manager, M.R. We asked if we could check in 55 min early. M.R. stated that there was a room available but the early check-in fee would be $20.00! What a complete turn off. $20 for a “early” 55 min check-in. If M.R. is a reflection of this hotel’s management / ownership, this may be a place you might want to avoid. However, the rest of the staff, especially the breakfast lady, were marvelous. Maybe they know that they have some making up to do."

"The parking was close to my room. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast danish was fantastic!"

"This hotel was in a great location right in the heart of Solvang. The pool and hot tub were lovely as well. The bar was very nice. Our room was quiet and we were able to get sleep as we were up and on the road by 6 am. Would definitely stay here again when we’re in the area."
