This hotel surpassed our expectations in every category. The room was beautiful and spacious. The staff was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about local restaurants and sights.
Genuinely one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had.
We’re already planning a return to Santiago next year, and will stay a the Castillo Rojo again.
Wine in the courtyard every evening was a highlight, along with the excellent early breakfast.
The neighborhood stays active late into the night, but it’s not disruptive to sleep and relaxation.

The room was comfortable and clean. The only issue we had was the first day it had a bad smell coming from the drain system. Apparently out of their control, but uncomfortable none the less. By day 2 it was no longer there so it was better.
