"We stayed here with our kids (11 and 8) for one night on our way from Osa Peninsula to SJO. We should have stayed longer! We loved hearing about the gardens and tasting the fruit and the home brew. The home cooked meal was great--definitely go for that. The house is a little ways up in the mountains; I would definitely recommend a 4x4 car and a strong constitution, but the views were breathtaking (especially early morning sunrise!). If you are coming from the south, have Todd send directions....

"The property is absolutely gorgeous! The little Soda/restaurant Las Hermanas Huertas at the bottom of the driveway is incredible. We had a couple small things pop up, however Danny was very responsive and the people at the Soda were very helpful and accommodating. A vehicle with some ground clearance is definitely recommended for the driveway. If we are fortunate enough to travel back to Costa Rica in the future we will definitely stay here again!!!"

"Great stay! The management team is exceptional! The house is pretty new and clean. Neighbor houses in the development are pretty close but most of the time we had little or no noise from neighbors. Strongly suggest 4x4 vehicle as the 15 minute drive up from the highway is steep and rough( typical for CR mountain houses). Daily macaw and toucan views from the house and frequent howler monkeys nearby. Definitely would return. Good value for the price. "

"Excellent place to stay for home base to visit Cloudbridge Nature observatory or hot springs and Chirripo The share uniqueness of the house was a treat in itself. The interior was a tranquil sanctuary. Very natural and peaceful. The lighting was an unexpected ambiance. Full kitchen was a plus all you need to be meal ready is ingredients.
