"This is a wonderful place to stay, with one exception. It is at the top of a steep hill that only very fit people can walk up quickly. In addition, within the B&B you have to climb narrow stairs to get to the roof where they serve a wonderful outdoor breakfast with amazing views of the city. On the positive side, after going back and forth to the main part of the city, you won't need to go to the gym. Hotel Balcón del Cielo

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is amazing. The location is excellent, right next to the funicular to ride down to the city. (The cost of the funicular is included in the room cost and you get priority to board.) The room was spacious and clean, I love the balcony room with view to the city. I will definely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Guanajuato. The parking is pretty close. Staff were very helpfull. We will definitely be back to this hotel on our next trip to Guanajuato."
