Right before arriving to the establishment there was a huge puddle of water about 4 feet high. Which I had to drive my car through. Getting into the “resort” was terrible. The food at fortuna was awful. The atmosphere is great and it’s a great place for pictures but it’s not worth it. The pool was green we could not even get in. I was not able to check In until 3:20pm.

The setting of the cabins, atop a quiet hill,is what makes La Estancia so magical. Cabins are in excellent shape and provide modern conveniences. It was relaxing to take in the scenery from the swinging hammocks. The views from our room were breathtaking, and our entire stay was relaxing. All of the pathways and landscapes is covered in beautiful native flowers. The pool and bathrooms are spotless. The restaurant serves wonderful yet uncomplicated food. Perfect selection of dishes for a relaxing vacation meal. The staff members or so friendly and helpful. The cook Cruz, Daniel, and Ari brightened our stay with their amiability and hospitality. La Estancia comes in highly recommend!!!!

This was our second stay. The first time we stayed in November we tried to use Jacuzzi but it never got hot, same thing on this stay. However they kept it on all night to get it hit for the next day. Its a big Jacuzzi and we understand it takes time to warm, so if you stay here, call ahead a few hours in advance and ask them to turn it on. Also the big lodge restaurant has burned down, so our plans to eat dinner never happened. The two reasons for the hotel choice, food and jacuzzi.. I am gonna say this, they really tried to make it right, gave us a late check out for 5 pm, and they also had a make shift restaurant y the pool, and the food and staff did a great job. They comped the breakfast for us.... They tried to show good hospitality and I give them an A for effort. We will go back again, but we will call ahead next time to confirm things.

Pleasant surroundings, courteous staff; actual place is still miles away from a finished product for what it charges per night; scary to think, who is it going to cater to once it actually is fully finished and certainly look lavish… how much will they want to charge then?? 😳 All in All happy with purchase, simple things could make it better, like for instance placing a trash bin in the actual bedroom would be nice (simple things)… Thank you again Grecia 🙏

TERRIBLE! No recomiendo hospedarse, Sigue en construcción, pésimo servicio, sin luz, sin wifi, sin aire acondicionado, horrible! Eramos un grupo de 7, y todos presentamos las mismas dificultades en diferentes cuartos, nuestra estancia fue muy desagradable, las fotos que muestran las agencias (expedia, por ejemplo) no son lo que parecen. Este lugar no está terminado ni listo para estar activo. Llegamos a las 8am y no había nadie en recepción, no hubo wifi en ningún momento a pesar de que la pagina menciona tenerlo, ademas el aire acondicionado no funcionaba bien y hacia mucho calor, todo estaba en plena construcción, cómo se ve en una foto había trabajadores fuera de mi cuarto trabajando y haciendo mucho ruido, era imposible descansar, ademas de eso la luz se fue al rededor de 10 vez al día, ya que cómo menciono, el lugar no esta listo ni funcional, no podíamos cargar el celular, el agua de la regadera salía hirviendo, fue imposible dormir, ya que el calor era insoportable sin aire, nos cambiaron de cuarto y era lo mismo, pedimos un ventilador (el cual no fue proporcionado) ya que las personas encargadas se van a las 8pm y dejan el lugar solo, se sentía hasta peligroso, lo peor de todo es que ellos solo pidieron disculpas, el 2do día fue igual, no hubo solución de nada, no pudimos dormir bien de nuevo, moriamos de calor, seguiamos sin wifi y la luz se iba a cada rato, al final ni expedia ni el hotel nos solucionó, no confíen en ellos, las fotos son una farsa

Hola Barbara, cómo estás? Muchas Gracias por tus comentarios, cómo te lo comentamos en persona, sentimos mucho que hayas pasado tan desagradable momento. El calor de ese fin de semana cómo comentas, si era extremo, Nuestras habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado, el cual funciona y enfriaba la habitación después de un tiempo, lamentamos que ese tiempo no haya sido el esperado para ustedes. Como en persona su grupo nos comentó sus inconformidades y realmente nosotros no podemos controlar el calor, lo que hicimos fue ofrecerle una comida para todas sus reservaciones, adicional a los 3 días de desayuno que también tenían, con las 3 noches de hospedaje. lamentamos que eso, la alberca, juegos mecánico y jacuzzi tampoco fuera suficiente para ustedes. Agradecemos sus comentarios y esperamos tenerlo de vuelta

Hotel is still under construction, workers start at 8am with loud music and walk in front of your window all the time which is not comfortable. It will be a great hotel once is finished but if your are looking for a quiet place to relax, for the moment this is not it.

Great for relaxing away from the city.
Great stay. Currently expanding the property even further. The drive in is a dirt road, so just drive slow, but it's totally worth it. Bring snacks, definitely eat at the restaurant, and get drinks at the pool bar.
Swing, ferris wheel and other attractions.
Private patio with hammocks
Pool was amazing. Includes jacuzzi, swim up bat, and sunbathing pool (about a foot deep?)

There’s so much potential but it is not ready for a guest stay. To start the road is rough terrain to get to your villa. There is construction materials everywhere. I arrived at a restaurant with no visible direction of the reception desk. When I asked a waiter for the reception he pointed to a lady who was the restaurants’ cashier. When I told her about my reservation she gave me a key with no direction. I asked her where I needed to go and she told me to go down slightly a hill and then immediately take a left. Our villa # was not clearly displayed, but when I found it, it had been used. There was food, booze, flower petals all over the room. There was no phone to call the reception. So we had to drive the dirt road again, back to the restaurant. I complained about the room and was given another key. I asked if they were sure it was clean. I didn’t want to make the drive back and forth again. So they sent another staff member to lead the way. Finally, this room was clean. The room itself was nice. Rustic but new. The view has potential but there were water lines, sewer lines, landscaping being worked on with bulldozers. Although there was a nice pool it was not in use. The view was very disappointing. They should complete the majority of work and not have a guest stare out to a construction site. The restaurant on the other hand was nice. Rustic and so romantic. Live music. The food was delicious. You can tell where their experience was. Don’t stay here!

Todo muy bien, bonita habitación con cama comoda y muy bonita vista del paisaje. El baño también muy bonito, solo comentario deberían de tener jabón para lavarse las manos y pañuelos. Solo había 2 sobrecitos de shampoo en la regadera que utilizamos para lavarnos las manos, por suerte nosotros llevabamos nuestro shampoo para bañarnos. En general buena experiencia y con deseos de regresar.

El agua del jacuzzi estaba fría, se solicitó que aumentaran la temperatura para poder utilizarlo, respondieron que enviarían a alguien a resolverlo, pero nadie acudió; al igual que los demás huéspedes estuvimos durante largo tiempo esperando hasta que se llegó la hora de suspención del servicio y nadie lo resolvió 😒 La taza de baño no estaba funcional, el sapo se quedaba arriba, no cerraba. La hamaca de la terraza tampoco estaba funcional, se encontraba deshilada. Una de las lámparas de la terraza se encontraba fundida.

Le falta mucho a las instalaciones del cuarto, no hay tapetes, no hay cobija, no hay suficiente papel de baño (dejan el usado por el huésped anterior y no repuesto), solo dos mini almohadas, dos mini toallas de baño y muchos detalles mas a mencionar. Muy bonito lugar.

Es una excelente opción de hospedaje, queda a unos 25 minutos del Valle de Guadalupe, pero vale la pena. Las camas son cómodas (faltarían más almohadas) El acceso es muy fácil pero una vez que estés adentro falta señalización para llegar a las cabañas.
