"Unfortunately, the indoor pools which was supposed to be heated, were barely heated. Since we were there in December, we were hoping to use the indoor pools for swimming, but the water was too cold"

"The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were great. The only things missing were a kettle and an iron. We requested a kettle which you can do and were provided with a coffee maker which was ok but a kettle would have been better."

Excellent Breakfast varieties, good affordable restaurant for lunch time. Great dinner buffet options. Great location and lot to explore by walking around the Hotel, if you are looking to stay away from Funchal main city centre this is the one. Hardly 10 min drive or €13 euro Bolt Taxi to the Funchal city, € 9 Bolt taxi to the airport. Lot of Madiera experience tour pick up options from the Hotel. Definitely I would recommend this for any family. Loads of Kids playing options. Who ever opts in this Hotel would not regret it. "Very friendly welcome and was also upgraded to a superior sea view room, which was clean and well-equipped, with a kitchen. Location was perfect at the quiet end of the front and close to the cable car station to Monte. Car parking in the basement was very handy and leaving it there after checkout was no problem. Breakfast was very pleasant and we also had a drink in the Captain’s bar outside later, again excellent service and a nice ambience. Would definitely book here again if we were staying over in Funchal."
