"Absolutely the most caring and friendly family run hotel. Minutes walk to central Funchal area. Such a lovely welcome from Humberto to this homely traditional hotel, was even shown and given a choice of rooms. My room with a balcony had the most beautiful views, with en suite bathroom, where, may I say, the cleanliness is superb, from pure white towels, bedding etc.(I walked on my room carpets with white socks where the soles were spotless when I removed them!)
