We absolutely LOVED our stay at Punta Tamarindo. The communication was great and always available. We couldn't find the location at first but they responded and helped right away. Once we arrived we were in awe of the facility! It was amazing and the room exceed our expectations. Everything was instagram-able and picturesque. We dived right into the pool which was refreshing and the facility offered everything we needed. The beach was about 2 1/2 blocks away and very walkable. The restaurants and bars around the area were great! Chicama was our favorite.

Security and Privacy Concerns We booked the “two-bedroom villa” at Punta Tamarindo for a girls’ trip in August 2026. The property looked similar to the listing photos, but we had several security concerns that made us uncomfortable enough to leave and book another place. This is a fully self-check-in property with no reception or lobby, and during our stay there was no staff or security guard stationed on site. Our biggest concern was the main entrance. The door was not functioning and was left open/unlock, so there was no controlled access to the property. With no reception or security on site, this made us feel very uncomfortable. The rooms are arranged around the pool and facing other people’s rooms, so privacy is limited, although curtains are provided. The rooms have a large sliding glass door instead of a traditional solid entrance door, and we had difficulty making sure it was locked. A staff member had to come help confirm it was secure. The pool also did not look as clean as it appeared in the listing photos. As a group of women traveling together, the combination of the open entrance, no on-site security, limited privacy, and difficulty securing our room made us feel unsafe. We ultimately chose to stay elsewhere. I’m sharing this so other travelers, especially women traveling alone or in groups, can decide whether they would be comfortable with this setup.

Todo maravilloso, mi único pero es que añadiría una cafetera en las habitaciones, realmente eché de menos poder levantarme y tomar el café por la mañana, fuera de eso, la ubicación es muy buena, cerca de la playa y la habitación en muy buenas condiciones y limpia, sin duda volvería.
